Fans Are Gushing Over Tarek El Moussa's Sweet Daddy-Daughter Dance Outing

Even lifelong apartment dwellers could find lots to like about HGTV's "Flip or Flop." The premise of the show was irresistible: Hosts Tarek and Christina El Moussa, a married couple who were formerly real estate agents, found a new passion for snapping up ugly-duckling houses at auction, then turning them into showpieces worth far more than their selling price.

Sadly for fans, "Flip or Flop" was canceled in 2022 after a successful 10-year run, via People. But a far sadder conclusion had already occurred years earlier, when the El Moussas ended their often-tumultuous marriage (per Us Weekly). El Moussa went on to wed within the televised real estate world when he tied the knot in the fall of 2021 with "Selling Sunset" star Heather Rae Young (per Entertainment Tonight).

Christina reverted to her maiden name of Haack and got a new series of her own called "Christina on the Coast." But her post-divorce love life hasn't exactly been smooth. She's currently in a custody battle with her second ex-husband, Ant Anstead, over their young son, Hudson, per People. Not long afterward, it was revealed that Haack had married again, this time to real estate agent Josh Hall, and legally changed her last name to Hall as well (via TMZ).

Despite Tariq El Moussa and Christina Hall's differences, the one priority in their lives is their children, 12-year-old Taylor and 7-year-old Brayden. In fact, El Moussa just shared a moment with his daughter that has all of Instagram cheering.

Tarek El Moussa danced — and sang! — with his tween daughter

Tariq El Moussa spends as much time with his children as possible. On June 7, 2022, he announced a proud moment on Instagram: "Took Tay to her Daddy Daughter dance as her date and it was one of the best nights a dad can ask for," he wrote. "She is growing up way too fast, but I am so proud of the young woman she is becoming. I'm lucky to be her #girldad." The post showed two pre-dance photos of El Moussa, looking dapper in a dark blue jacket and black slacks, and 12-year-old Taylor, in a ruffled pink dress and jean jacket.

Perhaps best of all, the post included a short video clip of El Moussa singing along to Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" — and Taylor belted it out with him. As any parent of a tween will tell you, most 12-year-olds would cringe and hide at the sight of their dad singing in public. The sweet moment garnered over 40,000 likes, along with loads of approving comments. "So sweet to see a Dad enjoying spending time with his daughter," one wrote. "It's so important that a daughter sees how great men act and behave towards women. Well done!" El Moussa's mother, Dominique, raved, "You always make her feel so special."

Proving the family's unity, Taylor's new stepmom, Heather Young, added her cheers to the long list of comments. She posted four heart emojis and the simple message, "My loves."
