The Truth About Eric Martsolf's Marriage

Eric Martsolf has been a favorite among soap opera fans for years. The actor first won over hearts when he appeared as Ethan Winthrop on the NBC sudser "Passions" — where he was torn between his love for Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald (Lindsay Hartley) and Gwen Hotchkiss (Liza Huber), per Soap Opera News.

After the soap ended, Martsolf switched gears and headed over to "Days of Our Lives" to take over the role of Brady Black from actor Kyle Lowder (via Soap Central). Martsolf quickly made the character his own and "DOOL" fans fell in love with his version of Brady.

Martsolf is a family man who is happily married to his longtime love, Lisa Kouchak.

According to The Knot, Eric Martsolf and his wife Lisa Kouchak met while doing musical theater together. The pair both performed in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," where Martsolf played the Pharaoh and Lisa worked as a dancer. The pair began dating and eventually, the actor pulled off a memorable proposal.

After spending Christmas at his parents' house in Pennsylvania, Martsolf waited until every gift had been opened before he pulled Kouchak aside and told her that she had forgotten to open a present. He then presented her with a ring box and popped the question. The couple later married on October 10, 2003 (via Famous Fix).

Three years later, Martsolf and Kouchak's family doubled in size when they welcomed twin boys Chase and Mason Martsolf. Over the years, the actor has shared many memorable moments with his sons via his social media accounts, and in April 2022 he announced that his boys had hit an important milestone by celebrating their 16th birthdays, per Soaps.

As for his relationship with Kouchak, that also appears to be going strong. The couple recently celebrated a big milestone of their own.

In 2021, Eric Martsolf and his wife Lisa Kouchak celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary, per Soap Opera News. "18 years of marriage with this Beauty, today," the actor captioned an Instagram shot of the couple together. "I am so proud that I got ya. Thank you for making the tough times easier, and the good times better. You're also hit as heck. Love you babe," he added.

Perhaps one of the keys to Martsolf and Kouchak's happy marriage is that they share similar interests. During a previous interview with Soap Opera Digest, the "Days of Our Lives" star revealed that both he and his wife like to do Beach Body workouts. Martsolf even revealed that the couple has transformed their garage into a private gym so that they could work out together from the comfort of their own home (via Hollywood Hiccups).

"It's been really great and we've bonded as a result. I've never worked out with my wife. I've always been that gym rat that goes to Gold's Gym and I'd do my own thing and I was always set in my ways and she kind of made me think outside of the box," Martsolf confessed. "I'm actually having more fun working out than I ever had," he added.

After all of these years, it seems that Martsolf and Kouchak have a very solid and loving relationship, and fans love to see all of the updates about their family life on social media.
