Astrology Expert Reveals The Perfect Vacation Spot For A Sagittarius - Exclusive

Those born under the last fire sign of the zodiac, Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21), are known to be among the most adventurous of people (via Allure). Driven by their own curiosity, energy, and creativity, this sign fully embodies their symbol: the archer. As soon as a Sag sets their sights on a goal, they are unafraid to point their arrow directly at it, and focus all of their considerable drive and ambition to reach it. Everyone's beloved Taylor Swift is a Sag, for instance.

You are unlikely to ever see a Sagittarius back down or shy away from a goal they have in mind, a conviction they hold to be true, or a fight they know in their hearts they have the ability to win. Professionally, this sign charts their own course and astounds those around them with their innate ability to create solutions, pitch ideas, and think outside the box. Personally, this passionate sign loves love, and they draw people to them simply by being their genuinely loving, generous selves. They love making connections, meeting new people, seeing new things, and having new mind-opening experiences.

So when this adventurous sign wants to find a new place to explore, where should they go?

The perfect adventure for a Sagittarius

According to LifeStyle Asia, while there's likely no place on Earth a Sagittarius wouldn't want to explore, the adventure spot on the top of this fire sign's list should be a hike through the Himalayas. Their thinking is that the food, culture, and natural beauty a Sag would encounter along the journey would keep them constantly engaged. We asked Astrologer Cameron Martin of Path and Purpose what he thought of this plan for a Sagittarius, and he was all for it.

"For Sagittarius, the most adventurous of the zodiac signs," Martin told us, "only the ultimate adventure trek through the great Himalaya Mountains will do." He went on to explain that "for thousands of years, the Himalayas have held a profound significance in South Asian literature, religion, myth, and philosophy (all things ruled by Sagittarius)." As such, he feels this is, in fact, the perfect destination for the archer. "Whether you are seeking to experience a life-changing pilgrimage or the greatest mountaineering challenge in the world, the Himalayas are calling you, Sag," he said.

What to know before you go

In their piece about hiking the Himalayas, The Guardian gives some great advice to potential adventurers. The mountains form a crescent shape that span the landscape from Kyrgyzstan to Burma. The Guardian calls this mountain range "a geography of superlatives" because it features such high mountains, deep valleys and gorges, plateaus, and forests. Considering just how much ground these mountains stretch across, it's important to make a detailed plan in advance with regard to which part you want to see, where you want to begin, and where you intend to finish.

Lifestyle Asia suggests visiting Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh, as a visitor would be able to appreciate the beauty and adventure of the hike, and still be close to the local culture, where you could also explore local food and cafes. If you are seeking to visit other parts of the Himalayas, make sure you consult an expert before you make your plan to ensure you've considered everything from seasonal weather patterns to the changing political landscapes of the countries and regions you might pass through. While ensuring your safety is top priority, we assure you that plenty of excitement awaits an adventurous Sag once they begin their trek.
