The Bold And The Beautiful Notches Some Big Viewership Wins

Thanks, in part, to the writers, "The Bold and the Beautiful" has certainly been leaving a lot of viewers on the edge of their seats and there's a good reason for it. Ever since Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) came back onto the scene, she's been leaving nothing but a trail of dust and drama. On New Year's Eve, she swapped Brooke Logan's (Katherine Kelly Lang) nonalcoholic champagne for the real one, which led Brooke to kiss another man that wasn't her husband that night. Not only that, but Sheila also got into a heated argument with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in an alleyway behind Il Giordino and accidentally shot her son John 'Finn' Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), per Soaps.com. If that weren't enough, Sheila's also gotten her claws out for Li (Naomi Matsuda). In an interview with Soap Hub, actor Kimberlin Brown said that if there's anything that fans should have known about Sheila by now, it's that you don't cross any kind of line with her. Speaking about Sheila's fight with Li, Brown explained, "One problem Sheila had with Li is that she betrayed her. Li chose to betray her. You don't do that."

And because Sheila has become the villain du jour in this fictional town of Los Angeles that the Forrester, Spencer, and Logan families reside in, it might also be the reason why "The Bold and the Beautiful" has managed to climb in the ratings battle with some big viewership wins.

The Bold and the Beautiful is on a roll

According to Soap Opera Network, the cast and crew of "The Bold and the Beautiful" have a recent to celebrate as the hit CBS daytime television show has hit a new season high in total viewers. In fact, the soap has been on a roll lately and is even seeing some of the biggest audiences it's had in the last two years. "The Bold and the Beautiful" has been averaging about 3.213 million viewers a week, putting it behind just "The Price is Right," and its sister CBS soap "The Young and the Restless."

Seeing how Finn and Steffy's parents Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) are about to travel to Monaco to help bring Steffy back home (via Soaps.com), there's a good chance that more fans will tune in to the soap. That's because their trip to Monaco is the first one that the cast and crew have taken abroad in years. Jacqueline MacInnes Wood even shared a behind-the-scenes look of the cast having a good time in Monaco on her Instagram page back in June. Tanner Novlan also shared behind-the-scenes pics of the B&B cast looking incredibly dapper in Monaco on his Instagram, too. That certainly gives fans even more of a reason to tune in, right?
