Currently, Krista is a writer for Addiction Recovery where she writes blog articles for rehabilitation facilities about mental health and other substance use-related topics. She has experience as a proofreader, freelance script editor, and scriptwriter. Her short play, "When The Doorbell Rings," was a finalist in the 2017 New Works of Merit Playwriting Competition and was produced in both the New York Winterfest and J.P Anderson Festival. She has studied movies and television throughout her college career and she continues to be involved in the television writing community by taking classes at the UCLA extension program and Gotham Writers.

Education

In 2018, she graduated from Marist College with a BA in media studies and a minor in creative writing.
