Mae Abdulbaki is a film/TV writer, editor, entertainment journalist, and podcast co-host. She founded Movies with Mae back in 2013 and has been typing away at her computer day and night ever since. She's written for Examiner, Punch Drunk Critics, and worked the weekend news cycle during her tenure as editor at Heroic Hollywood. Mae's most recent work can be found at The Young Folks, where she serves as TV Section Editor, and as co-host of Ladies with Gumption podcast. Mae is a member of the Washington DC Area Film Critics Association, Alliance for Women in Film Journalism, and the Black Reel Awards.
