Most of us can likely recall cozying up on the couch and finding ourselves glued to the wildly dramatic storyline of a Lifetime movie. While just about anything from the network may have once been considered cheesy, the movies are now not only regarded as a guilty pleasure but also a place of empowerment for women (BuzzFeed).

"Originally, a Lifetime movie meant the woman couldn't be saved by a man at the end," Pat Fili-Krushel, told HuffPost. How things have changed.

In fact, many famous actresses have taken center stage in the melodrama of a Lifetime movie. Whether it's a teen pregnancy plot line or a murder investigation, Kristen Wiig, Reese Witherspoon, Hilary Swank, Kirsten Dunst, and Christina Ricci have all gifted us their talent on the set of a Lifetime movie (Mental Floss).

With repeating themes of danger, deception, romance, mystery, and (of course!) Christmas, there's likely a Lifetime movie that'll satisfy any mood. And, if the nearly endless catalog of titles from Lifetime is just too long to choose from, try basing your selection on your zodiac sign.

Pisces should watch mystical and magical movies

Those born under the sign of Pisces, Feb. 20 through March 20, have a propensity for the psychic and spiritual (Cosmopolitan). They are magical, empathetic old souls who are deeply intuitive. As the 12th sign of the zodiac, Pisces are sort of like our wise astrological grandmothers.

And, as water signs, they are dreamy, hypnotic, artistic, romantic, and unafraid to swim in the depths of the emotional world. Pisces are the poets and the escapists, forever wearing their rose-tinted glasses and following their seemingly psychic gut feelings. Remember Drew Barrymore's viral rain-loving video on Instagram? Yep, that's it — the pure embodiment of Pisces energy.

Naturally, Pisces are best suited for fantasy films, according to Indastro. So, if you were born under the symbol of the two fish, you may try adding "Mary Poppins" and "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them" to your movie queue. "Lord of the Rings," "Big Fish," "Pan's Labyrinth," "Ghost" — anything with an otherworldly quality is likely right up your alley.

Why Carolina Moon is the ideal Lifetime movie for Pisces

Lifetime's "Carolina Moon" was adapted from best-selling author Nora Roberts' romantic mystery novel of the same name. Starring Claire Forlani and Oliver Hudson (IMDb), the 2007 movie follows a young woman with psychic abilities who finds herself back in her small South Carolina hometown, rebuilding her life and facing an unsolved murder from years past.

The 2000 book is likely a favorite of any Roberts reader, and, when adapted into the comforting formula of a Lifetime movie, it's sure to please Pisces viewers. As deeply emotional and spiritual beings, this star sign tends to be non-judgemental and is unlikely to be surprised by much in the human experience (Cosmopolitan). Chances are they're able to sit with some of the darker thematic elements in "Carolina Moon" where other star signs may shy away.

Mystery, a love interest, and psychic visions — in terms of zodiac alignment, this one is perfect for Pisces.
