Kendall Jenner's Red Carpet Moments That Left Us Speechless

Kendall Jenner is a model, so she sure knows how to work a runway — she's also a reality star who has learned how to wow fans on the red carpet.

"The Kardashians" mainstay is the second-to-youngest child of Kris Jenner, and was only 11 years old when the family began filming their long-running E! show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" (via The U.S. Sun). So while she may have lived out her awkward years on screen, rest assured that the now-26-year-old is more than comfortable in front of legions of adoring fans, at least judging from her confidence at events.

It was around 2010-2011 when the media started to take notice of the budding star as she stepped out for events like movie premieres and the People's Choice Awards (via W Magazine). Back then, Jenner styled herself in rather simple ensembles in keeping with her background role on "KUWTK."

And then, a few years later, the then-15-year-old began modeling for the likes of Victoria's Secret, Fendi, Chanel and Calvin Klein, and suddenly, Jenner became one of the stars we couldn't wait to see on the red carpet (via Harper's Bazaar and Cosmopolitan). What would she be wearing? Well, in many cases, the star's fashion prowess would start to eclipse her sisters' and a red carpet starlet was born.

Her first Met Gala

The year 2014 would mark Kendall Jenner's Met Gala debut and a major red carpet fashion moment for the star (via Yahoo! Sports). About her Topshop gown, the model said, "I was in a sedan and I had to lay in the back seat because my corset underneath was so tight."

We would never have known how uncomfortable Jenner was that night, making this red carpet moment all the more impressive, and indicative of her many red carpet wins yet to come.

Cannes Film Festival 2016

Attention! Grown up Kendall Jenner entered the building in 2016 at the Cannes Film Festival, where the now-bonafide model wore a very revealing Cavalli Couture gown that left little to the imagination (via Us Weekly). And yes, those were snakes embroidered on the sheer gown if you looked closely, making this reality star-turned-model's breakout red carpet moment even more admirable as fans could clearly see she was coming into her own by this point.

Cannes again

There's definitely something about Kendall Jenner and the Cannes red carpet, since the very next year, she was back and stealing the show with another winning look. This time, the star opted for high drama with a complete 180 from her Halloween-chic style from 2016. Jenner instead donned a white, billowy mini-dress and train designed by Giambattista Valli (via People).

But theses looks wouldn't hold a candle to her 2018 Cannes ensemble that fans will never forget mainly due to how, um, revealing the sheer number was (via Harper's Bazaar).

And Cannes again

After Kendall Jenner wore a see-through Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown featuring cascades of ruffles on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in 2018, her look was all anyone could talk about (via Harper's Bazaar). The reality star's gown was called one of the "most risqué" by the Evening Standard, while the Independent hailed her fashion moment as one of the best of the event.

Pretty in pink in 2019

A 2019 AmfAR gala saw Kendall Jenner stepping into her power in pink. The attention-getting number was surely a memorable fashion moment created by one of the mega-influencer's favorite designers, Giambattista Valli (via Harper's Bazaar). About why she chooses these clothes again and again, Jenner said, "I love the dramatic yet accessible silhouettes; they make me feel powerful and effortless, which is what being fabulous is all about, in my opinion."

The 2019 Met Gala

The year 2019 was a colorful one for Kendall Jenner, who wowed in bright shade of orange at the Met Gala. Bustle called the look akin to an "orange highlighter" come to life. PopSugar was of the opinion that the star channeled Cher for the red carpet moment. No matter what your take is on the showgirls-inspired ensemble, one thing is for sure: This was one red carpet that Jenner did not walk without being noticed.

2022 Vanity Fair Oscar party

Glam was back in a big way following a dearth of red carpet appearances due to COVID. In March of 2022, Kendall Jenner stunned fans at an Oscars party wearing a voluminous black gown that confirmed fashion hadn't gone by the wayside since the pandemic.

The Met Gala in 2022

Kendall Jenner's 2022 Met Gala gown definitely won the night among her sisters who also attended, with fans collectively bashing Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner's outfits. But perhaps the biggest talking point of the evening was the model's bleached eyebrows, which weren't a huge hit with Twitter in the end.

No matter; overall this star is one person we always look forward to seeing hit a red carpet. We can't wait to see what she serves up next!
