Flipping 101 W/ Tarek El Moussa: What Is It And When It Premieres

Fans eager for more Flip or Flop content rejoice; star Tarek El Moussa is getting his very own spin-off show and it's dropping sooner rather than later. Flipping 101 w/ Tarek El Moussa has just been picked up for a 14-episode season run with HGTV, according to Deadline. 

The show will feature the beloved real estate expert as he mentors newcomers to the business, teaching them how to flip houses via his own considerable experience in the field. El Moussa, who has hundreds of noteworthy sales to his name and is currently worth a whopping $6 million according to Celebrity Net Worth, is now looking to expand his empire by passing on his well-earned knowledge to wannabe real estate moguls. 

"I've been incredibly lucky as an entrepreneur to build a successful business. Now I get to help first-time flippers learn the ropes, find the best property deals and show them how to make the most profit on their investment," El Moussa enthused. Jane Latman, president of HGTV, pointed to how fans of Flip or Flop have followed El Moussa throughout his professional and personal trajectory, including during his sad public separation from co-star Christina Anstead. "Now HGTV will show off his expertise and personality in a whole new light," Latman revealed.

Though the couple divorced in 2018 after splitting privately two years prior (via Country Living), El Moussa and his ex-wife and business partner returned for a new season of Flip or Flop on August 1. Premiering simultaneously was Tarek's Flip Side, an HGTV digital series focusing on El Moussa's personal life. Meanwhile, Anstead has her own spin-off show, also on HGTV, called Christina on the Coast, which takes a closer look at her design business.

Flipping 101 w/ Tarek El Moussa will reportedly premiere in early 2020. The excited entrepreneur took to Instagram last month to share the good news, writing, "This is one of the biggest announcements of my life!!! [...] Thank you @hgtv and all my fans for always supporting and believing in me... I couldn't have done it without you..."
