Vanderpump Rules' Jax Taylor And Brittany Cartwright Reveal Their Baby Plans
After tying the knot in Kentucky this June, Vanderpump Rules stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are looking to the future. They're happily settled in wedded bliss, in spite of recent reports suggesting things might be rocky between them after Taylor was spotted without his wedding ring.
Cartwright dismissed the claims in an interview with Us Weekly, assuring fans everything is great ("Marriage is awesome") and that workout-crazy Taylor is even getting wedding rings specially made so he doesn't have to take them off in the gym, or elsewhere (and stoke the rumor mill as a result).
For his part, Taylor explained to Hollywood Life, "I don't ever wear my wedding ring. I just don't. I'm not a jewelry guy. [...] At my house, my wife doesn't wear hers either."
Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright definitely want to have kids
The Kentucky native advised Us Weekly in August that she and Taylor "aren't officially trying just yet," to get pregnant, but she fully admitted to having babies on the brain, saying, "I've always wanted to be a mom and Jax can't wait to be a dad, so we're just seeing how it goes and maybe within the next year we're going to start trying."
Taylor himself enthused to Men's Health back in December about being a father, gushing, "I'm so determined to be the best father that I can possibly be — because I really want to be at every PTA meeting, every soccer practice, every ballerina class. My dad was there." The Vanderpump Rules star struggled on the show with the loss of his own father, and clearly wants to live up to his example.
How soon are Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright going to start their family?
Even though Cartwright confirmed just last month they weren't officially trying, Taylor revealed while hosting the Carl's Jr. Ultimate Avocado Brunch just a few days ago that a baby might be on the way sooner rather than later.
When questioned by Hollywood Life about whether or not the Vanderpump Rules couple are currently trying, the reality star demurred, "Yeah, we're obviously open to it, we're not like, well I guess yeah, we're working on it. We're working on it, I'll leave it at that, we're working on it."
A source previously told the site that the couple was trying, and confirmed they wouldn't be disappointed if a pregnancy test turned up positive, so clearly it's very much in the offing for the loved-up pair.
