Kimberly Guilfoyle Had A Front-Row Seat To Charlie Kirk's Relationship With His Wife

Kimberly Guilfoyle has been part of Trump world since 2018, when she first began dating Donald Trump Jr. following his divorce from Vanessa Haydon. Since 2016, Guilfoyle has played a role in President Donald Trump's career, from joining the pro-Trump Super PAC America First during the 2018 mid-term elections to landing her current role as ambassador to Greece (despite her breakup with Trump Jr. in 2024). Given her VIP status in the exclusive Trump orbit, it's no wonder Guilfoyle developed a reportedly close relationship with Charlie Kirk, another Trump ally who was shot and killed while speaking at an event on the Utah Valley University campus in September 2025.

The pair was actually so close that Guilfoyle was there to witness Charlie's pre-date jitters ahead of his first outing with his future wife, Erika Kirk. "I actually remember being with Charlie the day of his first date with Erika and seeing their relationship build and blossom since then was so profound and powerful," Guilfoyle told the Daily Mail. "He was so excited and nervous, which was cute to see. And looking back, it's clear he was really excited about that next chapter and to be such a devoted father and husband."

Shortly after his death, Guilfoyle also paid tribute to her friend Charlie, who seemingly had a profound impact on her life.

After his death, many of Charlie Kirk's close friends within the MAGA orbit — including JD Vance, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Kimberly Guilfoyle — paid tribute to his impact on their lives and the world at large. "I will miss my dear friend, Charlie Kirk," Guilfoyle wrote on Instagram. "Charlie had such a big heart and a powerful presence. He loved this country, stood for freedom, and inspired so many with his courage and conviction."

Like true friends, Guilfoyle and Kirk often helped propel each other's political careers. In 2023, Guilfoyle appeared as a guest on an episode of his podcast, "The Charlie Kirk Show," where they spoke about the 2024 presidential race. Kirk also revealed that Guilfoyle helped him become the first guest on her ex-husband Gavin Newsom's podcast, "This is Gavin Newsom," in March 2025.

Guilfoyle also voiced her support for Kirk's wife, Erika — whose eventful life actually gives off Guilfoyle vibes — and her takeover of Turning Point USA as its new CEO in the aftermath of Kirk's death. "This is what Charlie wanted and what's best for TPUSA and America," Guilfoyle captioned a Facebook video from when Erika appeared on her husband's podcast. "God bless you Erika."
