Renovation Island: Here's How Much The Baeumlers Are Worth

Renovation Island, or Island of Bryan as it was known in its original home of Canada, made featured couple the Baeumlers, and their incredible pipe dream of owning and operating a luxury resort on an isolated Bahamian island, instantly famous. Bryan and Sarah Baeumler, and their gaggle of adorable kids, have an infectious energy that makes it super easy to root for them even as they sink further into eye-popping amounts of debt and a myriad of issues continue to derail their plans.

Longtime fans of the couple will know they did successfully set up their luxury resort, even managing a grand opening earlier this year (it's currently closed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, of course). Given how stunning the resort is, it's no surprise to learn it's netted the Baeumlers a considerable amount of money thus far. This, along with their considerable HGTV fame, has made the Baeumlers a very rich couple indeed.

Renovation Island was personal for the Baeumlers

Sarah Baeumler is the designer side of the duo and was initially less well-known than her hubby, who had several reality shows to his credit before Island of Bryan/Renovation Island came along. Celebrity Net Worth notes the couple married in 2004 and have been inseparable ever since. They have four children together.

In an interview with the Ottawa Citizen, Bryan admitted there were times they wanted to walk away from their dream project, but both parties are ultimately glad they didn't. Sarah reckons the reason the show has resonated with fans so much isn't just because it focuses on a much bigger project than other HGTV home renovation shows, but thanks to, "The human side of it, about doing it with our children, about all these individuals who we had just met created in essence a family on this island."

The Baeumlers have accumulated considerable wealth

Although it was no doubt a stressful and time-consuming project for the couple, Renovation Island's Bryan and Sarah Baeumler acknowledged it was their kids who helped them push through during its toughest moments. "We really did rely on our children to give us a little bit of that reminder that everyone needs so often about why we're here and what we're doing everything for," Sarah told Global News.

Particularly on days when the couple was giving too much of themselves to the project, Sarah noted, "We would do things just as simple as going out with the family on a boat or jumping in a blue hole to just try to take our mind off of it." It was all worth it in the end of course, and all of their hard work — 24 hour work days were not uncommon — hasn't just resulted in their dreams coming true, but in the Baeumlers being worth a combined $20 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
