The Real Reason Dorit Kemsley Got Veneers

Dorit Kemsley has a lot to smile about these days. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star recently revealed that she's revamped her grin with veneers. Kemsley has always had a beautiful smile but, as she explained in an Instagram post, while she's had very few cavities and never needed braces growing up, she grinds her teeth.

Kemsley's dentists suggested wearing a night guard for years, but the RHOBH star said that "the thought didn't appeal to me." Over time, this led to some problems with her teeth. "As the years went on I would notice my teeth looked smaller and smaller and I started to have sensitivity which became increasingly more uncomfortable over time," she said.

Eventually, the problem grew so bad that Kemsley said "veneers were inevitable" and she scheduled a consultation with dentist Sam Saleh. Saleh, who has offices in Beverly Hills and London, has worked with a number of celebrities. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Saleh has worked with the likes of Mel B., Tyra Banks, and Tamera Mowry-Housley. Saleh has also worked with another Housewife, RHOA's NeNe Leakes, as well as royal family members Lady Sophie Windsor and Fredrick Windsor.

Dorit Kemsley is happy with her new veneers

Kemsley said that she was introduced to Saleh by a friend who had just gotten veneers. Kemsley said she was "immediately impressed"' by Saleh and decided to get veneers, as did her husband, Paul Kemsley. "PK and I are both so grateful and couldn't be happier with the results!!!" she said.

Kemsley's new smile is the only change she's publicly announced, although fans have been speculating that she's had other work done recently. On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen (via People), a viewer asked Kemsley's fellow RHOBH star Kyle Richards if Kemsley has "gotten something done in quarantine."

Richards answered, "Oh my gosh, I can't spill info like that! I don't know, but I think she did acknowledge that she did her teeth or something? So, maybe? She doesn't send me texts, like, saying, 'This is what I'm doing or, you know, what's going on.'"
