How Much The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Are Actually Worth

They've kept us entertained for a decade with a succession of lavish parties, increasingly bizarre cat-fights, and dubious plastic surgery procedures (always denied, of course). "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" may not be the OG Housewives (respect to the "O.C." ladies), but it's arguably the most addictive of Bravo's seemingly endless variety of city-set franchises — regardless of how dodgy those opening lines are ("I believe in an excess of everything... except moderation" makes literally zero sense).

Watching these older ladies navigate their frequently fabulous lives is all well and good, but how much can we actually trust what we see on reality TV? Or even what Andy Cohen chooses to dissect in those all-important reunion shows? They may be living large in Beverly Hills, toting Birkin bags, and cruising around in Lamborghinis, but how wealthy are the so-called Real Housewives in reality? Surely not everything in Hollywood is fake?

Lisa Rinna

The fabulous Lisa Rinna isn't famous purely because of her tenure on "RHOBH." Prior to popping up as "the other Lisa," she was well-known as a soap star, appearing first on "Days of our Lives" in 1992 followed by a recurring role on "Melrose Place." Rinna's lengthy television career, which took in spots on "Veronica Mars" opposite husband Harry Hamlin as well as hosting jobs on the likes of "Soap Talk," netted her the majority of an estimated $10 million fortune, as per Celebrity Net Worth. According to her official site, she also rakes in extra dough writing books and hawking goods on shopping network QVC.

Upon joining the cast of "Beverly Hills" in Season 6, Rinna was reportedly pulling in around $450,000 per season, as noted in a 2014 report by Radar Online. During an appearance on "Andy Cohen Live" in April 2018, Rinna hinted the reason she took a backseat during Season 8 was because longer term cast-members Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards are actually making more money than her. Cohen seemed to concede, remarking, "Housewives is a show that the longer you're on it, the more you make is the bottom line."

Lisa Vanderpump

It's hard to imagine anybody fancier than Lisa Vanderpump, a queen in a castle (Villa Rosa) who bathes in rosé and eats diamonds for breakfast (okay, those are lies, but neither would be that crazy to imagine). According to Celebrity Net Worth, LVP is worth a whopping $90 million, and she earns $500,000 per season of "Housewives." Fans of another hit Bravo show, "Vanderpump Rules," will know the philanthropic Brit owns a hit night spot called SUR (sexy unique restaurant — really) in West Hollywood, along with several other local businesses. Adding to her bottom line, Vanderpump debuted a new show "Overserved with Lisa Vanderpump" in 2021.

LVP clearly loves the finer things in life, with Bustle once pointing out the "opulent" items in her home like an infinity pool, a swan pond, and a mini house for her mini horses. Vanderpump once told InStyle in a lively interview that her parents were actually very frugal, so she learned the value of money and doesn't even have a credit card 'cause she likes to know where her hard-earned cash is at all times. "Money is freedom. It gives you the power as a woman to say that you come and go when you want to. And, you know, 'Let me pick up this dinner bill,'" she explained emphatically.

Dorit Kemsley

The glamorous woman with the untraceable accent made quite the stir when she arrived in "Beverly Hills" in Season 7, and Dorit Kemsley has continued to stir the pot. She and husband Paul Kemsley (aka PK) frequently flaunt their wealth on the show — i.e., she went shopping for a car worth a few million for his birthday. Off-screen, it's a different story. Although Celebrity Net Worth puts Kemsley's fortune at $50 million, thanks to her successful swimwear line, Beverly Beach, she and PK suffered some very public financial issues.

According to The Blast, PK owed $1.2 million in an unpaid loan and was sued by the recipient. The businessman separately owed the Bellagio casino in Las Vegas $3.6 million for a gambling debt. Also according to The Blast, Mrs. Kemsley was ordered by a judge to sort out an ongoing dispute with an ex-business partner seeking reparations for the work he did on Beverly Beach. The wealthy couple then had trouble shifting their mansion, slashing the price in early 2018 to attract more buyers, according to a report in Page Six. Oh well, at least they can still enjoy their rose gold Bentley.

Teddi Mellencamp

The self-described most "normal" "Real Housewives" star is actually... not that far off. Teddi Mellencamp, daughter of country music legend John Cougar Mellencamp (himself worth an estimated $30 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth) is likely not shopping in the same places as we mere mortals do, but she's not exactly Lisa Vanderpump either. Bustle did a deep dive on Mellencamp's finances, noting she made around $60,000 a year as a talent agent upon first arriving in L.A., before transitioning into her current role as an accountability coach, which nets her around $35 to $100 an hour.

Meanwhile, her husband Edwin is founder and CEO of Skyline Security Management, Inc. so he's most likely making good money, too. Romper also notes that Mellencamp, like many reality TV stars, earns a decent amount from her sponsored Instagram posts. This would explain why her family home is slightly more, er, modest than her cast-mates. Despite Mellencamp's reported $12 million net worth, it's reasonable to assume she still actually is as normal as she claims on the show. Who knew!?

Kyle Richards

Kyle Richards was living the Hollywood lifestyle as soon as she could walk, starring in movies alongside older sister Kim. Her successful acting career has netted Richards an estimated fortune of around $50 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, with a few hundred thousand per "Housewives" season. Aside from appearing all over the silver screen, Richards also has her own boutique store, Kyle By Alene Too, with locations in L.A. and New York.

She also produced the show "American Woman," which was loosely based on the life of her mother (unfortunately, it only lasted one season and was canceled in September 2018, as per Variety). Speaking to the publication at the beginning of that year, Richards revealed that her mother instilled in them the need to make their own money, explaining she taught them "to be strong and independent and not have to need a man for anything." Still, it probably doesn't hurt that Richards is married to hugely successful real estate agent Mauricio Umansky (whose own net worth is around $100 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth).

Kim Richards

In a January 2019 discussion with Variety, Kim Richards' younger sister and fellow RHOBH star Kyle admitted having her on the show "was an automatic opening to things you may not really want out there." The elder Richards had well-publicized issues with addiction, with her struggle featured on the show. She left "Housewives" behind after Season 5, popping up now and again, but not featuring as a main star since. There's some disparity about how much she's actually worth, with Born Rich claiming $2 million and Celebrity Net Worth putting the figure much lower, at $400,000.

Richards made most of her fortune acting as a young kid. She was also netting around $100,000 per season with Bravo. Following a number of marriages and divorces, Richards pulls in significant monthly reparations, according to Bustle. Still, regardless of how well off she is (and, to be clear, Richards is never going to be that close to the poverty line), her focus is on sobriety. As Richards explained to People, she wouldn't rule out returning to the hit show but, right now, she says: "I'm really at a peaceful place in my life, being a mom and a grandmother."

Camille Grammer

Saint Camille of Grammer sadly no longer graces us with her holy presence as a regular cast-member, drifting in and out of the action, dropping nuggets of wisdom before floating away. The notoriously private ex of "Frasier" star Kelsey Grammer netted a whopping $30 million in their divorce, as reported back in 2012 by TMZ. According to the site, Grammer was instrumental in getting the struggling actor back on his feet when they originally got together (he was reportedly broke at the time), and it was agreed she deserved half of their shared assets as a result.

Celebrity Net Worth puts the reality star's fortune at a huge $50 million currently, noting she worked for years in her husband's company, Grammnet Productions, as a producer and writer. Grammer also made money acting, modeling, and dancing before settling down with the "Cheers" actor. Unsurprisingly, in 2017, E! News reported that she will also be awarded half of her ex's retirement fund. Considering this lady has survived cancer, a messy divorce, and being (allegedly) cheated on, it's good to know Grammer is adding to her considerable fortune while staying happy with new hubby David C. Meyer.

Erika Jayne Girardi

She quite literally has a song about how expensive it is to be her, so it's not surprising to learn the artist known as Erika Jayne Girardi is rolling in it. Appearing on "The Wendy Williams Show," Girardi admitted it all adds up: "If you want to look good it's hair, it's makeup, it's wardrobe, and then those people that help facilitate that. They're not cheap, you know?" Celebrity Net Worth puts her net worth to date at $5 million, following a record number of hit songs. While husband Tom Girardi was once worth tens of millions, according to a 2020 court case, he's worth much less, with Celebrity Net Worth putting his net worth around $100,000.

While she and her husband may have less today, Erika Girardi is still worth a considerable amount. Notably, she famously came from nothing, raised by a single mother in Atlanta (as detailed in her New York Times bestselling memoir), so if anybody understands the value of money it's Ms. Erika Jayne. In a 2018 interview with People, Girardi admitted that her lavish lifestyle gets dull sometimes. "There are only so many material things you can have before it becomes boring. There are only so many dinners, so many things you can buy," she explained. She credits her work ethic, telling the publication, "I've worked very hard for everything I've ever had. ... And I don't regret anything."

Eden Sassoon

Although she only appeared in one season of "RHOBH," Eden Sassoon made quite the impact (who could forget her yelling in a massive prom dress about giving Lisa Rinna "her heart"!?). The daughter of beauty legend Vidal Sasson (reportedly worth north of $200 million) is banking a massive $20 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. She has her own salon, named EDEN, along with two luxury Pilates studios, so clearly this is a lady who likes to keep busy.

Romper notes that Sassoon inherited a pretty penny when her father passed away in 2012, as well as netting a significant amount in her divorce from ex Tommy DeVito, the president and founder of Native Pictures LLC. Bustle, meanwhile, confirms that she utilized her "RHOBH" clout to begin earning the big bucks endorsing various products on Instagram. Hey, would that it t'were so simple for the rest of us, eh?

Yolanda Hadid

All of the "Real Housewives" are unique in their own ways, but Yolanda Hadid is arguably the most unique of all. The hilariously frank Dutch model and Lyme disease sufferer is known for telling it like it is, and her presence on the show has been sorely missed (Hadid took a backseat primarily due to her illness — or was it due to being demoted, as ET speculated?). According to Celebrity Net Worth, Hadid is worth around $45 million, and, as noted by StyleCaster, she reportedly pulled in $500,000 per season.

She banked a massive divorce settlement from her first husband, Mohamed Hadid. Her haul included two properties and a huge $3.6 million cash payout. Likewise, her second divorce from David Foster banked her another undisclosed settlement (so it's probably massive, right?). Yolanda Hadid is no stranger to the finer things in life (her fridge is so fancy it has its own Twitter account), but when asked by Money about her biggest splurge, she admitted most of her hard-earned money goes to vitamins. "I'm eager to learn every day and try new things. That's really a big part of my life and that's the only place I like to spend money," she explained.

Eileen Davidson

Much like her soap opera sister Lisa Rinna, Eileen Davidson was a big star in her own right prior to becoming one of the "Real Housewives." Celebrity Net Worth estimates she's worth $3 million, and was earning $750,000 per season on the show. Her fortune is a result of Davidson's starring roles on "Days of Our Lives," "The Young and the Restless," and "The Bold and the Beautiful." The actress also banked a decent amount writing a series of mystery novels with Robert J. Randisi in the early 2000s.

In June 2018, Davidson announced on Twitter she was leaving "The Young and the Restless" once again (her character went on hiatus from 1988 to 1999). There was speculation the cast hadn't had pay increases in years following a now-removed interview with ex-star Mishael Morgan's manager in TV Source. However, it wouldn't be long before Davidson would reprise the role of Ashley Abbott, making appearances here and there on the show throughout the years.

Regardless, Davidson is clearly doing fine without Bravo money, and she even told Hollywood Life she doesn't miss "RHOBH" one bit. "I have no regrets. It was definitely one of the most fascinating experiences of my life. ...I'm really excited about having been on it and I'm really excited about not being on it now!" the actress explained.

Denise Richards

Just when we thought "RHOBH" couldn't get any crazier, Denise Richards got added to the cast — yes, that Denise Richards — for Season 9. Richards is, obviously, a huge celebrity, having appeared in the likes of "Wild Things" and guesting on "Friends" as Ross and Monica's distractingly hot cousin. Celebrity Net Worth puts her value at a not-too-shabby $12 million, with Celebrity Insider reporting in a since-deleted article that multiple unnamed sources claim she signed a $4 million contract to appear on the hit show (though, a source close to the star reportedly told the site she isn't earning nearly that much).

The actress has struggled publicly with her divorce from Charlie Sheen who, according to E! Online in 2018, claimed he couldn't afford to pay child support due to his dwindling career. Richards herself was hit with a tax lien in early 2019 for an unpaid credit card bill totaling over $20,000, according to The Blast. She also reportedly owed almost $50,000 to a Malibu boarding house where she keeps her horse. Whether Richards earned several million dollars to appear on her favorite show (as she excitedly described it to People) or not, that Bravo money likely came in handy.

Taylor Armstrong

Poor Taylor Armstrong was put through the ringer during her tenure on "RHOBH" and, similar to Kim Richards, she's spent the ensuing years focusing on herself. Celebrity Net Worth puts her worth at $2.5 million, noting Armstrong was picking up about $175,000 per season on the show. The reality star acquired her wealth via her marriage to late husband and venture capitalist Russell Armstrong. She is also a successful businesswoman in her own right.

However, a damning 2012 report in Jezebel pulled the curtain back on the Armstrongs' supposedly lavish lifestyle. After her husband committed suicide, Taylor Armstrong was left with a $1.5 million lawsuit and, according to court documents, she tried to pay it off using fake Birkin bags. Jezebel also noted the couple didn't own any real estate (they rented the home featured on the show) and that her pricey engagement ring was used as part of the settlement.

This claim is compounded by a Reuters report, quoting the late Armstrong's lawyer as advising his client wasn't actually rich. The "RHOBH" alum subsequently wrote a book about her struggles with domestic violence and now dedicates her time to being a spokesperson for the cause.

Brandi Glanville

There are few "Housewives," from any city, more infamous than Brandi Glanville. She might not have appeared as a regular cast member in the Bravo hit since Season 5, when the tornado of a woman clashed with just about everybody, but the model and reality star is still worth a pretty penny. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Glanville is banking about $5 million, and earned around $175,000 per season of the show.

Despite not being a main "Real Housewives" cast member anymore, she's definitely comfortable. Aside from modeling work and reality TV (she also had a stint on "Celebrity Big Brother"), Glanville wrote a New York Times bestselling memoir entitled "Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders." Although she's apparently moved on from "Real Housewives," Glanville teased a comeback in December 2018 in an interview with Life and Style. The controversial star, who's since made guest appearances on the show, admitted, "I miss the trips and the camaraderie. You're basically getting paid to have a party."

Adrienne Maloof

Philanthropist Adrienne Maloof has wealth in her blood, working alongside other family members, as she has done for most of her life, as a co-owner of Maloof Companies (itself worth a whopping $1 billion). Celebrity Net Worth estimates she's worth around $50 million, having reportedly earned $200,000 per season of "RHOBH." Maloof's divorce from ex-husband and plastic surgeon to the stars Paul Nassif was amicable, according to E! News, and an ironclad pre-nup protected both parties' considerable assets.

Maloof clearly isn't your average Beverly Hills princess, as a hilarious video from Us Weekly noted with a "celebrities, they're just like us!" air of disbelief. So, what's Adrienne Maloof been up to? In a frank interview on "Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald," Maloof confirmed her various business enterprises are still going well. As for whether she'd return to "RHOBH," Maloof admitted she prefers showing up now and again rather than appearing on it full time, opining, "You can't bottle what we had. The originals, the OGs, we brought the ratings in. For whatever reasons, it all worked."

Carlton Gebbia

Carlton Gebbia lasted just one season on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," but she made a significant impact nonetheless. The woman was uniquely different from her fellow cast members thanks to a vocal interest in practicing the Wiccan religion, her spookier fashion sense, and, of course, Carlton's luxuriously Gothic mansion, which later sold for $13.9 million. Sadly, since departing the show in 2014, the former reality star has struggled considerably in her personal life. As Us Weekly noted, Carlton and long-time husband David announced they were getting divorced in August 2016. The two have three children: daughters Destiny and Mysteri and son Cross.

Adding to her woes, the "RHOBH" alum was sued by a former housekeeper, who claimed that, during the six years she worked for the family, she was subjected to physical, verbal, and emotional abuse (via TMZ). Carlton denied the allegations and countered that the relationship turned sour after the former employee allegedly stole expensive jewelry from her.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the former reality star is worth a whopping $100 million, thanks to her acting and interior design careers, as well as her marriage to businessman David.

Joyce Giraud

Fans first met the loveable Joyce Giraud on Season 4 of "RHOBH" after Adrienne Maloof and Taylor Armstrong left, with her and Carlton Gebbia filling their spots. Both only lasted one season, with Bravo head honcho Andy Cohen noting during an episode of "Watch What Happens Live" that the duo's lack of a connection to the rest of the cast made it harder for them to fit in with the group. It's a shame, because Joyce came with a fascinating backstory, having previously held the title of Miss Universe Puerto Rico before getting hitched to movie producer Michael Ohoven.

As the pageant queen told The Things, "I grew up very humble in the mountains of Puerto Rico but my grandma and my mom taught me that the best things in life are love and nature. I remember always waking up happy even if we were 'poor.'" Joyce has "no regrets" about her time with the "Real Housewives," and since leaving the show, she's been busy producing herself, and even has her own line of self-titled beauty products (via CheatSheet).

Unsurprisingly, her net worth is considerable, with Celebrity Net Worth advising it's $10 million (and counting).

Kathryn Edwards

Kathryn Edwards was a controversial addition to "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" due to her connection to O.J. Simpson. However, during an emotional episode of the show, she endeared herself to the ladies by opening up about how her father had died by suicide when she was just 13, after struggling with addiction issues for most of his life, as noted by Bustle. She worked extensively as a model before meeting her husband, NFL player Donnie Edwards, whom she married in 2002.

Living the high life clearly suits her as the former reality star confessed to Bravo's The Daily Dish, "I'm a shoe fanatic," admitting, "It's my biggest weakness." Manolo Blahniks, in particular, are her faves. Besides shoes, as Kathryn told The Daily Dish, her biggest splurges are on fancy cars and the best face creams money can buy. As Celebrity Net Worth notes, although the "RHOBH" alum was established in her career prior to hooking up with Donnie, Kathryn's net worth of $8 million is shared between them. Still, it's nothing to sneeze at, particularly if you count all the Manolos that kind of money can buy.

If you or anyone you know is struggling with addiction issues, help is available. Garcelle Beauvais

When Garcelle Beauvais joined "RHOBH" in its 10th season, the show had just lost fan fave Lisa Vanderpump. Although Garcelle has very little in common with the British restaurateur, she quickly filled the space Lisa left behind with her no-nonsense attitude, super-cool style, and job as an in-demand actress. As her IMDb page notes, Garcelle debuted in "Miami Vice," subsequently appearing in the likes of Eddie Murphy's "Coming to America," "The Jamie Foxx Show," "NYPD Blue," "Franklin & Bash," and plenty more besides. She was also the first Black cast-member on "RHOBH."

Elsewhere, Garcelle enjoys a lucrative partnership with Arm and Hammer, as noted by Forbes. The Haiti native appreciates all her blessings, telling the outlet, "I know what it's like to have nothing. I try to come from gratitude because I know what it was like and that keeps me grounded." She made it clear to Variety in 2020 that demanding equal pay with white co-stars is a given at this point in her career, too.

Garcelle knows exactly what she's worth, and rightly so, with Celebrity Net Worth putting her at $8 million earned to date.

Sutton Stracke

One of the most shocking moments during Season 10 of "RHOBH" occured when straight-talker Garcelle Beauvais demanded to know where fellow newcomer Sutton Stracke got her money from. Variety asked the show's first Black cast member whether the two women are paid the same for taking part, to which Beauvais quipped, "I don't know. But Sutton doesn't need the money, that's the thing!" So, how does the proud southerner earn a living anyway? According to CheatSheet, she married Thibeault "Christian" Stracke, executive VP and co-head of credit research at fund-management company PIMCO, in 2010. The couple divorced in 2017.

Likewise, Stracke has worked as a party planner and host for many years, and she was even voted among the Top 100 party hosts in America at one point, as per HuffPost. She also runs her own chic boutique, as fans of the show can attest. According to Slice (via The Things), the Los Angeles transplant is worth around $2 million. Notably, Stracke has been gifted some of her most prized possessions thanks to her friendship with designers like Dolce & Gabbana, so it's entirely possible she's sitting on a fortune that she doesn't necessarily need to dip into all the time.

Crystal Kung Minkoff

Crystal Kung Minkoff made history as the first ever Asian-American woman to be cast on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," as noted by Hollywood Life. Although she's been married to well-known director Rob Minkoff (who's worked on Disney classics like "The Lion King" and "The Haunted Mansion") since 2007, it's worth noting this impressive lady is a busy entrepreneur in her own right too, having founded coconut-based snacks and beverages company Real Coco. The company's website notes, "It is our goal to provide the purest, cleanest, and most importantly, the tastiest coconut products on the planet."

Evidently massively successful, Real Coco products are available to purchase from big-name stores, including Costco. So what's she worth? Slice put it around the $15 million mark, presumably when combined with her hubby's. This figure is likely based on royalties from his many movies, as well as profits from her health food company. Kung Minkoff's "Real Housewives" career only began in 2021, but clearly the busy wife, mother, and businesswoman is going to fit in just fine with the lavish Beverly Hills set.
