The Real Reason 90 Day Fiancé's Ariela Is Second-Guessing Her Big Move To Ethiopia

Stars of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Ariela and Biniyam haven't had the easiest time on the hit show, even by its own wild standards. Before their season even premiered, Ariela was calling out network TLC for allegedly making the couple look bad. When 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way finally did showcase their unconventional romance it was clear that, in spite of everything working against them, these two people really do love each other and want to do what's best for their child.

One of the biggest issues for Ariela and Biniyam is undoubtedly her long-discussed relocation to Ethiopia. When she visited his home, Ariela was visibly taken aback by Biniyam's living conditions (via YouTube). In particular, she was concerned that his home had no fridge, arguing, "I can't live in a place that has no bathroom and no kitchen!" As the series progressed, she seemed to slowly be getting more comfortable with the idea of moving to Ethiopia to be a family, but judging by the most recent episodes, Ariela still has a lot of concerns.

The reality star is put off by the considerable culture clashes

As TV Insider reports, Ariela's parents are concerned that she's going to have serious problems acclimating to Ethiopian culture. "I didn't expect Ethiopia to be as underdeveloped," Ariela's father admitted. He added, "I worry about day-to-day life. When you look at the road, where does my grandson play? Does he play in the street?" Ariela acknowledged it wasn't what she expected either and confessed to having issues with Biniyam's schedule. "This is one of the most different cultures that I've ever experienced from American culture," she advised. Although her parents are eager for the new family to move to a bigger place, money is a big issue. However, Ariela doesn't want Biniyam to work too much because she needs help with the baby.

Although, in the following episode, Ariela seemed more secure in her decision to live in Ethiopia, she was still incredibly unsure. TV Insider notes her parents gave Ariela the opportunity to back out, promising to support her no matter what. But the 90 Day Fiancé star reassured them she was fine. As Ariela reasoned, "Am I making the right decision about where to live? I don't know. But I definitely want Avi to be with his father. That's no question." She might not be sure about moving to a different country, but Ariela knows at the very least she wants them to be a family no matter what.
