90 Day Fiance's Brandon Has A Surprising Nickname For Fiancee Julia

The path to true love rarely runs smoothly on 90 Day Fiancé, but in the case of Season 8 stars Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina, the adage proves doubly true. Fans are only just getting to know the young couple, and already they're drawing unfavorable comparisons to Season 6's volatile couple Colt Johnson and Larissa Dos Santos Lima.

Brandon is super close with his mother, Betty, who's so involved in the young man's life that cameras captured her calling the gynecologist en route to the airport to pick up Julia, in an attempt to quickly put her on birth control.

Notably, Brandon's parents won't allow the couple to sleep in the same bed unless they get married. It remains to be seen how things will transpire between Brandon's family and his lady over the course of the season, with a pregnancy scare teased later on, as well as Julia's difficulty adjusting from city to rural life, but social media suggests they're still together at the very least. However, Brandon recently revealed a strange choice of nickname for his future wife that may give her pause.

Brandon worries Julia is like two different people sometimes

As reported by Entertainment Tonight, Brandon was instantly smitten with Julia, admitting to producers, "She was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. I couldn't stop thinking about her. And my first message to her was, 'You look like my future wife.'" They were a couple within a few weeks and engaged after just five months and one in-person meet-up, in spite of his parents' obvious hesitation. Betty even revealed in an interview that she wasn't sure the Russian native's intentions were pure. Brandon himself was worried about his money, particularly considering he was quickly running out of it.

Most pressing of all, though, are Julia's so-called mood swings, which the 90 Day Fiancé star couldn't deny are a major concern. "I did, at first, have this image of perfection when I first met Julia," he admitted. "It might have been a little shattered when I saw her again in France. I started to see, you know, her bad side — the fact that she had some bad moods, and things, that she wants to harp on me about." Brandon then revealed, "I call her 'Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde' because, one minute, you know, she can be a total angel, and the next minute... She could explode."

The young Virginia native argued that he's been footing the bill for the couple's trips, as well as the K-1 visa process. He's hoping that taking a chance on Julia will pay off in the long run because his feelings are on the line too.
