Chrissy Teigen's Daughter Is Following In Her Mom's Footsteps With This Hobby

Surprising no one, it would appear that Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's daughter Luna has decided that cooking is her newest passion. Luna's grandmother, Pepper Thai, the self-proclaimed "culinary enthusiast" and "mom of Chrissy Teigen," released her own cookbook, The Pepper Thai Cookbook. She passed her culinary prowess down to her daughter, model Chrissy, who has released her own share of cookbooks as well as a brand of cookware, Cravings. Finally, as is tradition, Chrissy's daughter Luna, at only four years old, has begun following in her matriarchal family's footsteps by being active in the kitchen.

Pepper sat down with PureWow and discussed her family, specifically focusing on Luna and brother Miles, who is two years old. She couldn't help but gush about Luna's blossoming culinary interest, saying, "Especially Luna now, she's learning how to cook so many things and helping in the kitchen—like mash garlic," Pepper said. "I think she's going to be great one day."

Chrissy and mother Pepper value the importance of cooking with family

This isn't the young chef's first time in the kitchen. Back in 2018, Chrissy shared a photo of Luna in her arms, who was five months old at the time, sporting a very professional looking chef's hat. She captioned the photo, "I have dreamed of this day!" Well it would appear that day has come!

The Teigen family loves to make cooking a family activity. Pepper said, "I prefer cooking with family, with the help of the kids," she explained. "I've been cooking all my life. My mother was a food vendor, and I learned how to cook from her."

And while Miles might be the youngest, he is no stranger to helping out in the kitchen, either. Chrissy posted a video last year with Miles helping her cut Christmas cookies, which adorably doesn't go exactly how Chrissy thought it would (via Republic World). But hey, it's the thought that counts.
