The Real Reason Mila Kunis And Ashton Kutcher Decided To Do A Super Bowl Cheetos Ad

It's no secret that some Super Bowl viewers tune in just for the commercials. That is why advertisers pay big bucks on ads everyone will be talking about the next day — after all, according to Fortune, close to 100 million people watched the 2019 Super Bowl, which was that year's top broadcast.

This year, one brand's ads folks may be tweeting about is for Cheetos, as according to Hollywood Life, real-life married couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis star in a series of spots for the crunchy snack. The Hollywood duo are also parents to two kids, Wyatt and Dmitri (via PopSugar). And this fact may have something to do with why they agreed to film the commercials, with Kunis telling ET Online, "In the midst of quarantine, they sent us this ad to do and every time I've ever been offered a Super Bowl ad it's always a female having to be scantily clad. And this one comes around, I started laughing so hard and Ashton was like, 'This is kind of funny.' And I was like, 'We should do it!'"

But the funny script was not the real reason Kunis and Kutcher said "yes" to the Super Bowl ads.

If it wasn't the script, the money is probably not a motivating factor for doing the Super Bowl ads for Cheetos, with Kutcher being worth about $200 million according to Celebrity Net Worth. Meanwhile, his wife is reportedly worth $75 million (via Celebrity Net Worth). So what was it?

As Kunis explained, "It was quarantine and we were stuck with our children for nine, 12, months at this moment, and I was like, 'Two days, baby! Two days off.' Literally we were like, 'Yeah, OK, let's do it.' And so we did it."

The mom of two admitted the experience was "amazing" and that she truly enjoyed some time away. But the actress also wants to make sure people know, as she said, "I love my children so very much! So, so much!"

Hey, we feel you, Mila! A little time away is probably much-needed for so many parents who have been quarantined with their kids since spring of 2020. Meanwhile, we are very excited to see the Cheetos ads this upcoming weekend.
