Bridgerton Star Regé-Jean Page's Girlfriend Revealed

When the hit Netflix series Bridgerton was released on December 25, 2020, audiences immediately fell hard for one of its stars, Regé-Jean Page, who rules the screen as the Duke of Hastings. It's easy to understand why: the 31-year-old is talented and oh-so-attractive! But much to the dismay of hundreds of thousands of fans around the world, it turns out that Page is also oh-so-attached to his girlfriend, writer, and soccer star Emily Brown.

The Daily Mail reports that Page and Brown were seen hugging outside their £800,000 (approximately $1.1 million) home in London. The publication also notes that Brown plays for the South-West London's FBB Warriors and also works as a copywriter for several corporations, including Nike.

Many fans hoped that Page was dating his Bridgerton co-star, Phoebe Dynevor, and he added fuel to the fire when he danced around the topic in an interview with Access Hollywood (via YouTube). "I think everything you need to know is on camera. That's why we presented it so beautifully for you. All the sparks that flew off of the beautiful scripts that we were handed, and so I think that the sparky scripted material are more than enough."

Fans can look forward to more Regé-Jean Page

Even though news of his relationship might disappoint many fans, they have likely been cheered by the fact that Bridgerton will begin shooting its second season later this year. The second season of the show will reportedly center on Anthony Bridgerton's romantic life, and show creator Chris Van Dusen told TODAY that there's plenty of material to work with.

"Anthony is going to have a love interest and it's going to be as sweeping and as beautiful as viewers have come to expect from the show. We have a bunch of new characters we are going to be introducing. Anthony is going to have a love interest next season, and I think it's going to be as sweeping and moving and as beautiful as viewers of the first season have come to expect from the show."

As Deadline reported, Netflix also issued a press release that confirmed season two is on, noting that "the incomparable cast of Bridgerton will return to production in Spring 2021."
