Everything We Know About Meghan And Harry's Second Baby

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have the sweetest news to share just in time for Valentine's Day. The couple will welcome a second child, news which the 39- and 36-year-olds shared by releasing a gorgeous black and white photo featuring the soon-to-be mom of two's burgeoning baby bump, while her husband gazes at her with adoration (via People).

A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan shared, "We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child." Archie is almost 2 years old.

This exciting news comes after the Duchess of Sussex bravely opened up about how she suffered a miscarriage this past summer. She wrote about her harrowing experience in a New York Times piece. "Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few," she courageously shared.

How far along is Meghan in her pregnancy?

In the Times piece, Meghan went on to pen, "In the pain of our loss, my husband and I discovered that in a room of 100 women, 10 to 20 of them will have suffered from miscarriage. Yet despite the staggering commonality of this pain, the conversation remains taboo, riddled with (unwarranted) shame, and perpetuating a cycle of solitary mourning."

Given her all-too-common experience, it's likely Meghan is at least through her first trimester since she and Harry have gone public with their baby joy. Also, judging from the size of her bump, this is a decent assumption. But no due date was shared, nor do we know the gender of the baby, or how the expectant mom is feeling.

Meanwhile, the news that a new member of the royal family is expected — even though technically Harry and Meghan have stepped down from their duties — comes on the heels of speculation that William and Kate may be considering having a fourth child.
