Lamar Odom Has Some Thoughts About The Kim And Kanye Divorce Rumors

What does Lamar Odom, the former husband of Khloe Kardashian, think of the ongoing rumors regarding the potential end of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's six-year marriage? During a recent interview, the former NBA player and ex-cast member of Keeping Up With the Kardashians shared his thoughts on the swirling divorce rumors regarding his one-time in-laws before opening up about his own love life and addressing his recent split from fiancée Sabrina Parr.

"I think it's very important to do the best thing for your mental health and our mental space," Odom told Us Weekly on Tuesday, Feb. 16. "If that's the best thing for them, then they have my blessings." Odom, who was married to Khloe Kardashian from 2009 to 2016, said that despite his close history with West, he has not been in touch with the rapper recently. "I haven't been able to speak to him," Odom explained. "I would love to though." As fans may recall, West rallied around Odom after a 2015 incident left him in a coma.

As for the end of his romance with Parr, Odom said that while they did briefly reunite at the end of last year, they will not be reconciling their relationship anytime soon. "Maybe it was too much time together too soon for the both of us," Odom wondered. "We kind of just jumped into it. ... We didn't give each other the time to really know each other before we made some life-changing decisions."

Kim Kardahian and Kanye West have been on the rocks for months

While Kardashian and West have remained mum in regard to their alleged plans to part ways, rumors have been swirling for months. In July 2020, sources told Us Weekly that Kardashian had met with attorneys amid a number of questionable emotional outbursts and Twitter rants from West but failed to pursue a divorce "because of their children." Then, at the end of last year, Kardashian and West reportedly had "a big fight" in the midst of the holidays and have been "living separate lives" ever since.

Although the couple sought marriage counseling earlier this year, Kardashian has been spotted numerous times without her wedding ring and has allegedly discussed her "exit plan" with financial advisors. Kim and Kanye tied the knot in Italy in May 2014 and share four children: North, 7; Saint, 5; Chicago, 3; and Psalm, 21 months.
