Blackpink's Jennie And Bigbang's G-Dragon Have Left Dating Rumors Swirling
PSA to K-pop fans everywhere: Blackpink's Jennie and Bigbang's G-Dragon are apparently dating! The rumors are swirling so much that YG Entertainment, their entertainment company, have released an official statement. As allkpop reported, YG Entertainment made a point to neither confirm or deny that the stars are an item. "We cannot confirm anything. We can't confirm anything about our artists' private lives. We ask for your understanding," the company said.
According to Korean media outlet Dispatch (via allkpop), Jennie and G-Dragon have been dating for about a year (!!) and they've been spotted together multiple times. In fact, Dispatch also reported that an insider revealed to them that, "a lot of people in YG noticed their relationship." And according to the same source, it's not just the people they work with who know about the couple." Jennie's mother is also aware of their relationship. She is thankful to him for his thoughtful care."

According to the South China Morning Post (SCMP), Jennie and G-Dragon first met in 2012 when Jennie starred in G-Dragon's "That XX" music video. In a behind the scenes clip (via YouTube), G-Dragon is leading the way, telling Jennie, "The cameras will follow you everywhere at anytime. You'll have to get used to it." Fast-forward one year later and Jennie was singing vocals on G-Dragon's "Black" and performing with G-Dragon on the TV program Inkigayo (via SCMP).
Since then, Jennie has gone on to form part of K-pop's biggest girl group and G-Dragon has continued to kick rapping goals. It's safe to say that should these swirling rumors be true, we're going to have one serious power couple on our hands — talk about a match made in K-pop heaven! We'll obviously be keeping a very close eye on these two for the foreseeable.
