Why did Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green divorce?

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have had their share of ups and downs. Sadly, they've hinted that they simply grew apart during their marriage. "I feel like people are on paths in life sometimes and you're on the same path, and you walk that path together, and things are working, then paths just kind of separate sometimes," Green said on his podcast after confirming his split with Fox (via Celebrity Insider). E! reports that Fox waited to file for divorce for a very specific reason. "They needed to hash out custody and figure everything out. It's been in the works and this was always her plan. As soon as they wrapped it up and the papers were in order, she filed. They will continue with 50/50 and have a plan for holidays," a source told the outlet.

Meanwhile, Fox is said to be getting serious with her current boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly (via Vanity Fair). "Megan needs her divorce to be finalized before she can fully move on. She is very happy though. Co-parenting has been tricky at times, but everyone is doing better now. Brian has moved on and is happier as well," sources revealed to People. Green is now dating Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Sharna Burgess.
