This Duggar Daughter Just Made Her TikTok Debut

The Duggar clan has had a social media presence for many years. As a family unit, they used Facebook as their primary source to connect with their fans. The supersized clan has 907,000 followers and keeps its social media presence alive via photographs, videos, links, and promotions for their TLC series Counting On.

The family's social media was once primarily maintained by the brood's parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar. Now that many of their children are older, they manage their own social media pages and have since expanded into the sharing sites Twitter and Instagram.

There was one place the Duggars did not stretch out their social media presence to include, however, and that was TikTok. Thanks to Jinger Duggar, that's no longer the case!  To her fans' delight, Jinger, who has been married to Jeremy Vuolo since 2016 with two daughters Felicity Nicole and Evangeline Jo, has brought The Duggars to TikTok.

What is Jinger doing on Tik Tok? How many videos does she have? We've got the scoop right here.

Here's how many followers Jinger Duggar has

For now, Jinger Duggar, 27, has just one video on the popular sharing platform, known for short clips where people display their creativity doing a number of fun activities.

The since deleted TikTok video begins with Jinger pouring out the contents of her makeup bag. Some of the items scattered on her black and gray speckled countertop appear to be new, while others are still in their original packaging.

The camera then pans to a shot of Jinger, who flips her dyed blonde hair side to side for the camera and shows off a full face of makeup. The quick clip was set to the instrumental version of the song "Stereo Love" by Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina.

That one video has captured the Arkansas native over 16.2K followers and 6228 likes. She may even gain more followers if she focuses her videos on hair and makeup tips and tricks, a fan-favorite category of videos on the sharing site.

How many people is Jinger Duggar following?

How many people is Jinger Duggar following?

Zero! That's right! NONE!

She used the "about me" section of her account to promote Counting On, tell the world she is a Christ-follower, and forward business inquiries to a particular email address. But as of right now, Jinger has not hit the "like" button on any of her fellow TikTok users' videos.

While she might be breaking new ground for the Duggar family on this video platform, the fans that regularly watch her TLC series are likely more familiar with Instagram and Facebook.

Several of her fans shared that Jinger may indeed be using the wrong social media platform to reach her fans, while others encouraged the reality television star to continue to break free from the restrictive life she once knew and blossom as her own person. Several other people joked that they never expected a Duggar daughter to get a TikTok.

The Duggar family likes to use YouTube as a way to reach their followers

The Duggar clan loves to make YouTube videos. There, they have a lengthy platform where they can speak their mind and expound on their interests and opinions.

Some of Jinger Duggar's siblings take their YouTube content very seriously. Jill Duggar and her husband, Derick Dillard, are regular YouTube content creators. Their last video on their Dillard Family Official channel was updated with content that features their children Israel and Samuel. It is also where they continue to reveal personal information about their current relationship with her extended Duggar family.

Jessa Duggar Seewald also regularly updates content on her own YouTube channel with videos of her children Spurgeon, Henry, and Ivy, as well as makeup and hair tricks and tips.

The Duggar clan has not updated their family YouTube channel with new content in two years. The last video they shared was of son Joe and his wife Kendra as they wished brother John and his wife Abbie good luck at their wedding.

It's not surprising Jinger was the first Duggar to use TikTok

Jinger Duggar has been a trailblazer within her conservative family. She was the first Duggar daughter to wear pants, followed by Jill, Jessa, and even eldest sister Jana (via In Touch Weekly). This fashion choice was a revelation within the conservative clan as, for years, Michelle Duggar and her husband Jim Bob forbade their daughters from wearing a skirt length shorter than below the knee. They also were not allowed to wear sleeveless shirts.

Jana, Jessa, Jinger, and Jill explained in their 2014 book, Growing Up Duggar, about their family's strict dress code. "We do not dress modestly because we are ashamed of the body God has given us; quite the contrary. We realize that our body is a special gift from God and that He intends for it to be shared only with our future husband," they wrote.

"We avoid low-cut, cleavage-showing, gaping, or bare-shouldered tops, and, when needed, we wear an undershirt. We try to make it a habit to always cover the top of our shirt with our hands when we bend over. We don't want to play the peekaboo game with our neckline," the girls clarified.
