This Is How Chrissy Teigen Imagines Getting Older
Chrissy Teigen may be rich and famous, but when she thinks of the rest of her life, she's not thinking of material things. Instead, the model imagines being surrounded by family and love. Teigen spoke to People about her vision for the future in an interview for their Beautiful Issue (and also modeled for the cover).
"I can't wait to see salt-and-pepper John [Legend] and me next to him with my silver hair," she told the outlet. "I really look forward to our children being hopefully the type of kids that come over every weekend for Sunday dinner. That would be incredibly meaningful to me. I will be so happy seeing my family all around the same table."
Elsewhere in the interview, Teigen said that, while she never had concrete career goals, she always "knew [she] wanted to be a mom and a wife" and gushed about how happy she is to be raising her kids with her husband.

"I thought I knew everything about John, and then [we] had children," she said of their relationship. "Seeing him take care of them is beautiful. Seeing my partner be a father is really wonderful."
If Teigen gets her wish for the future, though, it will still be bittersweet, as she will always be missing her son, Jack. Teigen was 20 weeks pregnant when she experienced the pregnancy loss that will forever impact her life. "I've learned how strong physically and mentally a body can be," she told People. "I've learned how strong I am. This year has been a roller coaster for everybody in the world, including our little family."
Jack may not physically be a part of the happy vision Teigen has for her future, but he will always be part of her life. "Jack will always be loved, explained to our kids as existing in the wind and trees and the butterflies they see," she wrote in a piece for Medium.
