90 Day Fiance's Big Ed Reveals Whether He Would Date Rose Again

90 Day Fiancé fan favorite Big Ed returned to our screens in the discovery+ series 90 Day: The Single Lifeduring which he and a selection of other alumni attempted to finally find love once and for all. The San Diego native hasn't exactly been lucky in his search for The One. His fiery relationship with ex Rose, a Filipino single mother significantly younger than Big Ed, played out on the hit show to an excruciating degree and was bursting with drama. Suffice to say, by the time the two split, it was a major relief for all concerned.

In an interview with Screen RantBig Ed revealed that Rose actually opened his mind to the possibility of being in a relationship, when before he'd never considered having a long-term partner. Big Ed even apologized for how he'd treated her on the show. The reality star opined, "I don't think I could have found a more perfect opposite anywhere in the world and I think that had a lot to do with the success of the show. We were the [last] two that knew we were wrong for each other." So, is there any hope for them reconnecting?

Big Ed hasn't shut the door on Rose for good

As Big Ed explained to Screen Rant, "We were a perfect storm." He also gave Rose credit for being herself, confirming, "The way that she reacted and acted that was all real." Although the two have sorted out their differences and wish each other the best, fans are still holding out hope for a Big Ed and Rose reconciliation. The exes reunited on 90 Day Bares All, a tell-all special that aired in June 2020. Big Ed memorably told Rose, "Bye, for now," when they were done chatting. And, in a subsequent interview with Entertainment Tonight, he admitted he'd "flirt[ed] with the idea" of getting back together with her.

"She looked amazing," the San Diego native acknowledged. "She's modeling. Her career has just taken off. She's building a second story house, I'm so proud of her." Big Ed noted, however, that he's looking for love a bit closer to home. "Rose will always have a place in my heart, and she's my friend now," he shared. However, Big Ed also teased, "I don't know what the future holds." The 90 Day Fiancé star did say that he wouldn't date someone as young as Rose again though, noting, "Probably 28-48 is my range."
