What Ben Affleck Really Thinks Of Jennifer Lopez
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez may be exes, but there is no bad blood between the two. In fact, Affleck still holds a lot of admiration for J.Lo, which he opened up about in a recent interview.
Affleck told InStyle that he has been impressed with his ex for years, saying, "I thought I had a good work ethic, but I was completely humbled and blown away by what she was committed to doing day in and day out, the seriousness in which she took her work, the quiet and dedicated way she went about accomplishing her goals, and then how she would go back and redouble her efforts."
He added that he still has a lot of respect for her. "She remains, to this day, the hardest-working person I've come across in this business," said Affleck. "She has great talent, but she has also worked very hard for her success, and I'm so happy for her that she seems, at long last, to be getting the credit she deserves."

Affleck didn't stop there. "Where are you keeping the fountain of youth?" he asked Lopez in the InStyle interview. "Why do you look the same as you did in 2003 and it kind of looks like I'm in my 40s... at best?"
This isn't the first time Affleck has spoken sweetly about his ex. The two called off their engagement in 2004 after two years together, but that didn't stop him from being upset in 2020 when she didn't receive an Oscar nomination for her role in Hustlers. "She should have been nominated," he told Brooks Barnes of The New York Times (via Vanity Fair). "She's the real thing."
Affleck added that he still "keep[s] in touch periodically with" his ex. He said, "How awesome is it that she had her biggest hit movie at 50? That's f****** baller."
