Here's What Whitney Thompson From America's Next Top Model Is Doing Now

Whitney Thompson, now Whitney Thompson-Forrester, made history and headlines as America's Next Top Model's first plus-size winner back in Cycle 10. Prior to her ANTM run, she studied at the University of North Florida and worked in daycare centers (via LifeSwift). On the show, she was a fan favorite because of her bubbly personality and stunning confidence. Along with that, her iconic makeover that made her blonde is still considered one of the best ANTM makeovers to date, according to Ms. Mojo (via YouTube). In May 2008, Thompson-Forrester won the entire Cycle, beating out contestants Anya Kop and Fatima Siad (via Entertainment Weekly).

Soon after her America's Next Top Model win, she was almost everywhere for a while. The native Floridian went on to be featured in Seventeen, People, and InTouch (via LifeSwift). Thompson-Forrester was even recognized by Lifestyle MSN as one of the most influential women of 2008 (via POPSUGAR). However, in recent years, Thompson-Forrester has slowed down a bit.

Whitney Thompson owns a restaurant in Florida

Thompson-Forrester, 33, married long-time partner Ian Forrester, and in December of 2019, gave birth to their first son, Winston Atticus Forrester (via Smokey Barn). While she models a bit less frequently, she documents it all to her 39K followers on Instagram and her blog. In her free time, she runs a blog called Whitney's Wanders, where she documents her traveling experiences, modeling, veganism, and her past pregnancy updates. Along with modeling and writing, another passion of hers is the food-service industry.

The former reality star has taken a different route than most ANTM alum. According to Entertainment Weekly, Thompson-Forrester previously owned a highly rated Tennessee farm-to-table restaurant, Whitney Lee's. However, she decided to go back to her Florida roots as the owner of the restaurant / pub Craft 850, in Panama City, Florida. The now-brunette beauty seems to be enjoying her life back in the Sunshine State, and quite frankly, her adoring fans are loving every minute of it as well.
