90 Day Fiancé: The Real Reason Mike Won't Wear A Wedding Ring After Marrying Natalie
Reality television lovers were first introduced to TLC's hit series "90 Day Fiancé" in 2014, and it's safe to say that they've been hooked ever since. And thanks to the series' success, fans have been able to get a closer look at some of their favorite couples, as well as brand new ones, with the franchise's multiple spin-off series, "90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days," "90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way," "90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined," and more, (via ScreenRant).
Although Season 8 of the series just wrapped, Season 6 of "90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?" premiered on the network on April 25, and the drama between Mike and Natalie, who appeared on both Season 7 and Season 8 of "90 Day Fiancé," is still very much alive and kicking.
As fans may recall, Mike and Natalie finally tied the knot on his ranch in Washington in April 2020, just days before Natalie's K-1 Visa expired, (via InTouch Weekly). "I wasn't sure if I was a hundred percent ready to marry her, you know," he told the cameras (via Entertainment Tonight), "and I was just kind of having doubts but at the end of the day, love is a strange thing."
Here's why Mike refuses to wear a wedding ring
Mike explained the real reason why he won't wear a wedding ring six months after marrying Natalie, telling his wife that he can't wear one while he's working.
Natalie, who launched her own YouTube cooking channel, admitted during the "Happily Ever After?" premiere (via TV Insider), "It makes me worried that Mike is not as serious about the relationship as he should be."
After some back-and-forth, Mike reluctantly agreed to go out and purchase a wedding ring for himself; however, fans couldn't help but notice that the tension between the couple was palpable throughout the season premiere. One Twitter fan wrote, "I just want to know which producer invited Mike and Natalie back on for this season we all know how it's gonna end. Another added, "Mike and Natalie on this season? They should have called it 'Unhappily Ever After.'"
