Inside Little Mix's History Of Feuds

The British girl group Little Mix was born out of Season 8 of "The X Factor," which aired in 2011. Like a lot of groups and bands, Little Mix have definitely weathered their own ups and downs over the years. The group is currently made up of three members: Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh Anne-Pinnock.

Little Mix carried on quite successfully and peacefully for a few years after their formation, but rumors of inner-group squabbles and fights began surface in 2017. The Mirror explains that a fourth member, Jesy Nelson, was cropped out of a photo of the then-foursome attending the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards, which led many to believe she was angry at the rest of the group. At the time, Edwards explained the reason Nelson was missing was quite simple, writing on social media, "Jesy is cropped out the picture because she doesn't like any of the photos!"

However, by 2020 Nelson had officially left the group.

Jesy left Little Mix in 2020 for her mental health

Jesy Nelson announced her decision to leave Little Mix in an lengthy Instagram post. She said that a big reason she needed to walk away was to take care of her mental health.

"There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves rather than focusing on making other people happy, and I feel like now is the time to begin that process," she explained, (via The Daily Mail). "So after much consideration and with a heavy heart, I'm announcing I'm leaving Little Mix."

While many have posited that the members of Little Mix really don't get along, it seems that that's not quite true. In 2019, the group members told Planet Radio they only disagree about their songs. Jade Thirlwall clarified, "Obviously sometimes we disagree on who prefers what songs the most, but we are pretty much on the same page and, at the end of the day, we all want to have a song that we love so we all have to be happy."
