The Truth About Beauty Influencer Mikayla Nogueira's Glamlite Collection

Like YouTube, TikTok has become one of the biggest platforms for rising beauty influencers. The latest is 22-year-old Mikayla Nogueria, who rose in considerable popularity during the height of lockdown after joining the platform in March 2020. In between online classes, Nogueria filled the time by creating vibrant looks which immediately propelled her into the pantheon of popular makeup artists online (via People).

On June 2, 2021, Nogueria took to TikTok to announce her first collection in collaboration with Glamlite. "There was nothing more important to me than working with an indie brand, rather than the large mass-produced companies that receive all the love," the make-up artist told People, adding that the brand is one that "cares for their customers, their products, how they treat their employees" and would give her the opportunity to bring her "exact vision to life."

In true Nogueria style, she revealed the news by re-enacting the famous fire-drill scene from "The Office," adding that the collection would drop on June 13. Pre-orders for the collab sold out almost immediately, with the majority of her products selling out within the first five minutes, according to PopSugar.

You can still buy the entire Mikayla x Glamlite collection and the eyeshadow palette

At the time of writing, a pre-order is available for the full Mikayla x Glamlite collection for $89, as well as the 30-pan palette for $49. The entire collection includes the palette, highlighter, lip gloss set, and two 3D faux lashes. As Glamlite points out, due to the products selling out so fast the collection is only available for pre-order and will be shipped on August 30 in the order they were placed.

The same goes for the eyeshadow palette, which features shades formulated by Nogueria herself (via Glamlite). Described as "smooth to the touch and easy to blend," the palette provides "a variety of bright colors and rich neutral shades" to create an "endless amount of glamorous looks."

As for the single products, the lipgloss set, eyelashes, and highlighter are all currently out of stock. So they only way you'll be able to get these beauties is through pre-ordering the entire collection. Before selling out, the lip gloss set was $28 and featured three beautiful shades called Mahket, Wicked, and Hot Mess. Both faux lashes were $12 each, and the Poppin' Highlighter was $14.

Nogueira's Glamlite collection has received high praise since its release

On top of being at a constant high demand, Nogueria's collection has been extremely well-received since its release. Popular beauty influencer Nicol Concilio gave her thoughts on the collection, saying that Nogueria and Glamlite did an amazing job on formulating the eye shadow shades, which "worked beautifully" when blending (via YouTube).

On Glamlite's website, both the entire collection and the eyeshadow palette have received five star reviews. Most are from fans that have yet to receive the palette, however, and are just excited to see their beauty guru succeed in her first collection.

"I cannot believe the response," Nogueria told People, going on to explain how she wasn't sure if people "would even care" when she first announced the collab. "But I smiled ear-to-ear the entire day after I announced I was coming out with this collaboration. To see how much support I have means everything to me."
