The Surprising Singer You Forgot That Tyra Banks Dated
Tyra Banks may be in the midst of a years-long relationship with businessman Louis Bélanger-Martin at the moment (via Elle), but before him, the 47-year-old model and "America's Got Talent" host was linked to a number of other men, many of whom are quite famous. According to Who's Dated Who, Banks has been linked to, or dated, the likes of Tiger Woods, Rick Fox, Tyler Perry, Will Smith, John Singleton, and Drake. However, when it comes to her lesser-known relationships, many people frequently forget that Banks also dated the former spouse of her "America's Got Talent" cast mate, Heidi Klum.
It seems that Banks' relationship with singer Seal often flies under the radar. As for why people tend to forget about Banks' past with the musician, that may be due to the fact that their relationship was brief and began in 1996, prior to his nine-year marriage to Klum, which began in 2005 and ended in 2014 (via People).
Tyra Banks dated Seal for nine months
While not much is known about Tyra Banks' relationship with Seal when it comes to their thoughts on one another and the reason behind their split, Who's Dated Who believes their romance lasted just over nine months. Per Showbiz Cheat Sheet, after Banks split with director John Singleton, she and Seal made a red carpet appearance together at the Essence Awards. When Seal was on an episode of "Watch What Happens Live," he answered a viewer question about whether Banks was the inspiration for his "Human Being" album. "It wasn't inspired by her but we bump into each other every now and then, there's no drama," Seal said.
As for Banks' future, her love life appears to be quite stable at the moment. That said, she and Louis Bélanger-Martin aren't yet engaged. In August of last year, after being spotted with a suspicious ring, Banks shot down rumors of an engagement on "The Tamron Hall Show."
"They're talking about the ring ... The ring is a crab. It's shaped like a crab ... and it's an opal, not a diamond," she explained, via Page Six. "It is not a crab opal engagement ring. It is just a ring."
