Here's What Lizzie McGuire's Clayton Snyder Looks Like Today

If you grew up watching the Disney Channel in the early 2000s, you'll remember beloved original series like "That's So Raven," "Even Stevens," and Hilary Duff's foray into mainstream media, the iconic show "Lizzie McGuire." The series followed young, adolescent Lizzie while she navigated the not-so-glamorous parts of growing up, like buying her first bra, dealing with the popular kids, and contending with an annoying little brother.

While Duff was inarguably the breakout star of the series, another actor has recently resurfaced to talk about his experience on the show. Clayton Snyder played the popular boy with a heart of gold (and an IQ of 60), Ethan Craft, who served as Lizzie's unattainable crush for the duration of the series. While "Lizzie McGuire" rocketed Snyder to fame alongside the Disney darling, he's managed to keep a low profile since the series ended in 2004, per IMDb

But after rumors of a reboot and subsequent cancellation of the series, fans are wondering where the floppy-haired heartthrob has been hiding all these years later. Keep scrolling to find out.

Clayton Snyder still gets asked about his 'Lizzie McGuire' character

Clayton Snyder currently works as a realtor in Souther California, according to Insider, but he still gets recognized from his Disney Channel role almost 20 years later. On the May 7 episode of the podcast "Where Are We Now? With Rivkah Reyes," Snyder revealed that the most asked question he gets is whether he's as intellectually challenged as Ethan Craft. "It's amazing how many times I've been asked point-blank: 'Are you really that dumb?'," he mused.

Though Snyder clearly surpasses his character in the brainiac department, he does sometimes remind himself of Ethan. "It's no secret that the characters we play have pieces of ourselves ... There is an aloofness about me over some things. And I think if it's not right in front of me, it's sometimes hard for it to grab my attention," he said on the podcast.

Snyder married longtime girlfriend and "Upload" actor, Allegra Edwards, in October 2020, per Brides. Plus, according to his Instagram, Snyder is on a physical fitness and weight-loss journey. Of his new rock hard abs, Snyder wrote, "This external change is truly a reflection of mental and spiritual changes, which are far, far more valuable." And as for his hair? He still doesn't "lather, rinse, repeat," which was the secret to Ethan's luscious locks. "I never really have. I didn't know that was a thing until that show. I don't know too many people who do, really," he revealed on "Where Are We Now? With Rivkah Reyes."
