Meet Joseph Luckinbill, Lucille Ball And Desi Arnaz's Grandson

Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz are two of the most iconic pop culture figures from the '50s. "I Love Lucy," the sitcom that featured the real-life married couple, is still beloved to this day. The "I Love Lucy" show ran from 1951 to 1956, according to IMDb

While they shared television success, Ball and Arnaz faced trouble in their marriage. After the final season aired, the pair split up for good in 1960, according to Vanity Fair. Aside from silver screen success, the couple's marriage also produced two children. Their children's names are Lucie and Desi Arnaz, via Good Morning America. Both Arnaz kids had a strong relationship with their parents. Lucie would go on to have children of her own with her husband, Laurence Luckinbill. One of these children is Joseph Luckinbill, who took after his musically gifted grandfather. Both Arnaz and Luckinbill have had success in the music industry.

Joseph is following in his grandfather's footsteps

Desi Arnaz was a successful bandleader both in real life and on "I Love Lucy," according to Biography. That's why it is no surprise that Luckinbill inherited his grandfather's musical talent.

Per Broadway World, Luckinbill first picked up the guitar when he was eight years old. He even has a bachelor's degree in music from Shenandoah University, where he also minored in classical guitar and jazz, (via Outsider). Luckinbill has composed music for his mother, as well as himself, according to All Music. He now teaches guitar lessons to children, per Lessonface.

While Arnaz and Lucille Ball have since passed away, it appears their grandchildren are continuing to follow in the footsteps of their famous relatives. According to Distractify, Lucie's other children, Simon and Katherine Luckinbill have pursued careers in the arts as well. Kathrine is an actress like her grandmother, while Simon is an accomplished artist. What a talented family!
