In recent years, Nick Cannon has become better known for his dating life than hosting the likes of "The Masked Singer." One of Cannon's more recent relationships to have hit the headlines was his romantic fling with model Jessica White. But what's the truth about the pair's on-and-off relationship?
According to E!, Cannon and White first began dating back in 2015 amid his divorce with ex-wife Mariah Carey. A source at the time revealed that the couple was "going really strong." However, the source added that they had been keeping a very low profile "out of respect for Nick's family since the divorce is not final."
"Jessica is completely smitten over Nick between his personality and good looks," the insider revealed at the time. "She has been telling her close friends he makes her feel like she is on cloud nine and so loved. Nick is very affectionate to her when they are with each other" (via E!).

According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, it emerged that the couple had broken up just one year later in 2016. However, in an Instagram post shared at the time, White hinted that she and Cannon had reunited. "Always been the love of my life always will be. REAL love can never be broken. You are me and I am you for eternity. @nickcannon you are a king always remember that," she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post.
However, shortly after their rumored reconciliation, news broke in 2017 that Cannon's former flame and mother of his son, Brittany Bell, was pregnant with his child.
Speaking to Hollywood Unlocked in 2021, White revealed that she and the former "America's Got Talent" host were in a relationship for six years. "We just had unconditional love for each other and we were friends. You know, when you have a really close friendship with a person, you just know each other," she said during the interview, revealing that a visit to her hometown is what led to her eventual split from Cannon (via Youtube). "We were actually still trying to work things out. He was with me for my birthday, like, it wasn't until I went home to New Orleans to visit family where I had to ask myself some heavy-duty questions," she added.
