Kate Hudson Shares Exciting Relationship News

It's been an announcement years in the making. Kate Hudson first started dating Danny Fujikawa in 2016 (via ABC News). But the couple actually met more than a decade before things got romantic, with the actress saying, "We've known each other for 15 years; he's my best friend's stepbrother. We kinda skipped through the part of knowing what the hiccups were. You kinda skip the part of going, 'Oh, you're like that?'" (via Showbiz Cheat Sheet).

Flash forward a few years, and Hudson and Fujikawa welcomed a child together, a daughter name Rani Rose. In 2019, the star said about marrying her man, "Probably, I think so. We think about that a lot."

Well, now the couple is taking that notion a step further, with Hudson sharing engagement news via Instagram Monday. The "Almost Famous" actress posted a photo of the couple kissing while she showed off her engagement ring, simply captioning the share, "Let's go," and adding bride, groom, and wedding chapel emoji.
