Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock are still navigating their lives post-split. The "Since You've Been Gone" singer filed for divorce on June 4, 2020, and the couple's divorce has allegedly gotten ugly at times (via Us Weekly). However, they are reportedly still dedicated to co-parenting their two children, daughter River Rose and son Remington Alexander, per Today. In addition to their two little ones, Blackstock also has two older children from a previous marriage, Savannah and Seth. Clarkson has reportedly been very close to both of her stepchildren, who are also the half-siblings to her kids.
Despite the couple's divorce, sources tell People that Clarkson has high hopes for continuing a relationship with her former stepchildren as she figures out how her new family dynamic is going to work. "She's always thought of Seth and Savannah as her own too, and she has a special relationship with both of them," the insider said. "Kelly wants to remain close with her step-kids."

According to People, Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband Brandon Blackstock is about to become a grandfather. Blackstock's oldest child, daughter Savannah Blackstock, has announced that she is expecting her first child. The 19-year-old shared the big baby news via her Instagram account this week and even posted a few photos of herself flaunting her adorable baby bump alongside her boyfriend, Quentin Lee. The two both wore cowboy hats as they posed in front of a gorgeous wooded area. "The most precious secret we've ever kept," Savannah captioned the sweet snaps.
Savannah appears to be over the moon about the pregnancy news, and about her relationship with Lee. Last year, she penned a tribute to her beau in honor of his birthday. "I am so blessed to have found someone so perfect for me," she wrote. "I look forward to being apart [sic] of your growth, and I will always be right by your side through thick and thin. You give me happiness I never knew existed. You have my heart forever and always.
The big news means that Clarkson's and Blackstock's children, River and Remington are set to welcome a new family member and become an aunt and an uncle to Savannah's new little bundle of joy. Although Clarkson is no longer Savannah's step-mother, it seems that the new baby will still big a big part of her children's lives.
