Growing Up Hip Hop Season 7 cast

Season 6 of "Growing Up Hip Hop" included some massive changes in the cast lineup. Most notably, Master P and son Romeo Miller exited the show under some tense circumstances. Master P has spoken out about his reasons for leaving the show, both on Instagram and in a video shared by TMZ. In his post, Master P shared that some of the storylines on the show are pure fiction; notably the fabricated love triangle involving Miller and Angela Simmons. "I'm only showing you this so next time you're watching this show you can use your real judgement and see how they flip people's words and change positive moments into negative," he wrote on the post. "This is the reason we quit six months ago."

In the video, Master P speaks with a producer about the deceptive nature of the storyline. "Why do you want to see them fall in love? There's no love there." Master P then spoke directly with TMZ and added, "These companies only care about ratings and creating negative edits ... that have been destroying families for years on TV." He added that Romeo no longer wanted to do one-on-one interviews with the camera "because he knew that his words would be altered."

Aside from Master P and Miller, Egypt Criss also announced on Instagram that she would not be returning. Other than those three, the rest of the cast should be on board.

New details on Growing Up Hip Hop Season 7

Following the birth of her new child, Angela Simmons is set to open up about her breakup and public perception of her life as an unmarried mother. Meanwhile, her sister Vanessa Simmons speaks about her desire to get closer with her sister as Angela remains focused on her career and prompts a sibling rivalry.
