After it was announced that Rinna would be returning to the soap opera, she revealed that she was excited to head back to a character who has meant so much to her over the years, per Today. "I hold a special place in my heart for Billie Reed, and I love her probably — I'm closer to her than any character I've ever played, and it's always fun to go back and revisit her," the reality star said. In addition, Rinna also seemed to have a great time reuniting with some of her former co-stars such as Deidre Hall and her fellow "Real Housewives" star Eileen Davidson while working on Peacock original series.

However, Hall revealed that Rinna's return did cause a bit of chaos on the set of the limited series.

Deidre Hall says she was excited to reunite with former co-stars

Actress Deidre Hall, who is best known for playing Dr. Marlena Evans on "Days of Our Lives," recently spoke out about reuniting with Lisa Rinna. Hall addressed rumors that she and Rinna clashed on the set of "Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem," but the actress says that gossip is completely untrue (via She Knows Soaps). "This is some jerk looking for a headline, and I don't say that lightly," Hall stated.

"There is absolutely no truth to it," she added, saying she's a big fan of Rinna. "She is funny, she's irreverent, she's always professional, and I'm crazy about her," said Hall, who has a hunch she knows where the rumor originated. However, Hall does believe that she knows where the rumor may have originated. The soap star says that she was so excited to reunite with her former co-stars such as Rinna and Christie Clark, who previously played Marlena's step-daughter Carrie Brady, that the director had to yell and scream at the actors to quiet down for their scenes.

Yahoo reports that Rinna and other former cast members' returns may have landed her in hot water with her director, but she was simply thrilled to catch up with old friends to stop the chatter.
