Prince Harry's Ex-Girlfriend Gets Real About Their Relationship
Over the years, Prince Harry's love life has been a hot topic of conversation among royal enthusiasts. In the past, Harry has dated multiple women who caught the public eye, such as TV sports reporter Natalie Pinkham and Russell Brand's ex-girlfriend Cassie Sumner (via Town & Country).
He was also previously linked to his sister-in-law, Pippa Middleton's, friend Astrid Harbord and British TV personality Caroline Flack. During his younger years, the royal was also said to be involved with Norwegian rock star Camilla Romestrand, singer-songwriter Mollie King, and pop star Ellie Goulding.
However, Harry's most serious relationships before meeting his wife, Meghan Markle, were with Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas. Harry dated Davy from 2004 to 2011 and dated Bonas from 2012 to 2014. Between the two relationships, the prince briefly dated model Florence Brudenell-Bruce, who is now married to millionaire banker Henry St George and thus named Florence St George.
"She felt he had a wandering eye all the time and she wasn't really into not knowing who he was flirting with or talking to when they were apart," a source told the Daily Mail of St George's prior romance with the prince.
Although the model dated Harry 10 years ago, she's now speaking out about her relationship with the Duke of Sussex and why she's glad it didn't last long.
Florence St George speaks candidly about her romance with Prince Harry
According to the Independent, Florence St George recently opened up about her short-lived romance with Prince Harry back in 2011. The model revealed that she feels "lucky" that the relationship with Harry didn't progress far and that she struggled with all of the media attention she received due to the romance.
"A new story would appear almost every day in the press, my school friends were interrogated and there were photographers outside my front door," St George told Stella Magazine (via The Telegraph). While she didn't reveal the reason for her split with Harry, she did say that she was "sad at the time" of the breakup.
St George also praised those public figures who are able to handle the pressure of being in the spotlight, perhaps referring to Harry's wife, Meghan Markle. "I take my hat off to those people who can cope with that lifestyle, but I knew I couldn't," she said.
Of course, things seemed to work out for both St George and Harry. The model is currently married to Henry St George, and the pair share two children together, daughter Iris and son Jimmy. Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan also have two children, son Archie and daughter Lilibet.
