Based on the photos of their Hawaiian wedding, the couple's nuptials were picturesque enough that they could have been filmed for a daytime special.
Although the lovers said "I do" in Hawaii, they shared a French-themed wedding. They told The Knot that the country played a special role in their relationship. "The first trip we ever took together was in Paris, and we got engaged there as well years later," Kruger explained. "Paris means a lot to us." The couple is still very much in love years after the wedding. They showed off their love on Instagram to celebrate their second anniversary back in 2018, and their lives had changed dramatically by the time their fourth anniversary rolled around in 2020.
What happened in the time in between? For starters, Kruger and Brooks expanded their family. "After about a year of trying to have a baby, we couldn't be more excited to be bringing our love into this world," Kruger told People in 2019. Their daughter Everleigh Jolie arrived later that year, per People, and they paid tribute to their love story in her nursery.

Their daughter's middle name is also a bit of a reference to the French language: Jolie is French for beautiful.
It's not French, but the family told Watch Magazine that they introduced themed Halloween costumes for Everleigh's very first Halloween, too. That year they dressed up as "Game of Thrones" characters; Everleigh was a dragon egg. Based on a glimpse at the couple's Instagram, the trend continued into 2021, as the family channeled "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory." Brooks dressed up as the titular candy man, Kruger painted her face blue to become Violet Beauregarde, Everleigh channeled an Oompa Loompa, and their dog was a golden ticket. How cute is that?
Of course, the family's Halloween costumes may look very different in 2022.

Here's some exciting news — the Brooks-Kruger family is expanding. Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger broke the news to People in August. "We are so excited about baby No. 2," Kruger enthused. "We told our daughter Everleigh as soon as we found out, and since then she asks to kiss my tummy every day. It's the sweetest thing." Kruger added that her first trimester had been a little different than last time. Of course, dealing with a toddler didn't make it any easier. Brooks meanwhile gushed about how "champion" of a wife.
"There was a lot more morning sickness with this pregnancy and a lot less sleep," he revealed. "The first time around she was away shooting a movie so I didn't get to see the first trimester struggle, but watching her go through it this time she's been so strong." Fans got to see baby Everleigh kiss the baby through her mom's tummy on Instagram, too. What a sweet family moment!
Is Everleigh going to be a big sister to a little brother or sister? It just so happens that she helped her parents break the news on Instagram. The family is adding another little girl to the mix. Unfortunately, she won't get to grow up in Everleigh's old nursery because the family moved to a new place, per Soaps In Depth. Clearly, they need a little more space for their growing family.

Where has the time gone? Believe it or not, Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger have already celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. The lovers marked the momentous occasion with adorable messages on Instagram. "I can't believe this was 5 years ago already," Kruger wrote alongside an Instagram photo of the bride and groom kissing on the beach. "Happy anniversary to my best friend & partner in crime. You put up with my craziness and love me in spite of it. You agree to do the dumbest things with me for a laugh, you're the best dad to Everleigh and after all these years together you still give me butterflies."
Not to be outdone, Brooks shared an equally heartwarming message. "Wow!! We made it 5 years!! Happy anniversary to this little nugget," he started his Instagram message. "Obviously it's been a wild ride so far, with many more ups than downs, and honestly I wouldn't want to be doing this with anyone else!! You put up with my crap, still laugh at my super awesome hilariously amazingly funny jokes!! And you seriously are the best mother." We mean, relationship goals, right??
What's their secret? We don't know for sure, but clearly, it doesn't hurt that they work together from time to time.

She reprised the position earlier this year and teased the happy news on Instagram. Kruger also revealed that she shared a dressing room with her hubby at the time.
