Does The Queen Have A Gripe About William And Kate's Home Life?

Prince William and Kate Middleton are so much more than valued members of the royal family. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are also hands-on parents to their three adorable children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The couple seems to have parenting down, and sources tell The Sun that they do everything they can to give their children the most normal lives possible. "Because of who they are, William and Kate have had to be highly organized parents, but as parents, Wills and Kate have developed this brilliant knack of letting as much as they can seem spontaneous and that's how the children see it," an insider said.

The sources went on to reveal that Kate's normal and loving upbringing with her own parents has also shaped the way that she and William parent their own children. "She comes from a supportive family so she's very keen on family networks and networks of friends and organizations. As parents they are also very good at rolling up their sleeves and helping out with school events; sports days, fundraisers and that sort of thing. They try to be just like normal parents with normal parenting challenges. No one ever jumps the queue for anything. They just try to fit in," the insider explained.

However, it seems that Queen Elizabeth may have one problem with William and Kate's home life.

Queen Elizabeth is reportedly annoyed by William and Kate's kitchen habits

According to Marie Claire, a newly resurfaced report about Queen Elizabeth has fans talking. It seems that upon visiting Prince William and Kate Middleton's home, the queen was a bit annoyed that they spend so much time in their kitchen. "When the queen visited the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Anmer Hall for the first time, she couldn't get her head around the fact that the kitchen is the main base for them," a source previously told Express. "For the queen, she can't stand that, because she is used to having a set room for that sort of thing." The source went on to explain that in Elizabeth's mind the kitchen is a place where the staff gathers to do their jobs. "The kitchen she never goes down to when she's at Balmoral, for instance," the source explained. "In her mind, that is where all the kitchen staff work."

It seems that William and Kate's family life may be more relatable than fans originally thought. For many households, especially ones with young children, the kitchen is a room that is used for many reasons such as family meals, homework, or a makeshift office. Although the Cambridges have the help of their staff, it seems that they are still drawn to the kitchen like so many other families across the globe.
