How Gino Prepared For Joining The 90 Day Fiancé Family - Exclusive

A number of us categorize our television watching with immaculate detail. When asked, we'll describe our love of content in a very broken down manner –- whether they are the true crime shows, cooking shows, or reality shows that are in circulation. The last category –- reality television –- is a big point of passion for a number of TV watchers, and it's not difficult to understand why. Reality shows can range from elaborate cooking competitions to the drama of a show such as "Selling Sunset" to the opulence of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." There's a reality show for everyone, and if you're a fan of reality dating that has a twist of real life — and isn't so massively produced like "The Bachelor" — it's safe to assume that "90 Day Fiancé" is on your list. The hit TLC show made a splash on the reality television world, and its success led to a number of different spin-off shows (and even a game show). When fans aren't sinking their teeth into the K-1 visa drama that accompanies the couples on "90 Day Fiancé," they can turn to other shows within the umbrella that provide just as much drama, if not more. One such show is "90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days," which documents international couples in their early days of dating. While the couples come from different parts of the world, their shared experience on the show binds them together, an element that newcomer Gino is particularly in tune with.

Gino -– a Michigan native and engineer –- is no stranger to the "90 Day Fiancé" world. Not only has he gone through the K-1 visa process before with his first wife (not in front of the camera, we should add), he is a massive fan of the show. Telling us that the franchise has taken up a good chunk of his time, Gino –- who is starring in the new season of "Before the 90 Days" -– did not hold back when we asked him about entering the franchise family. "90 Day Fiancé" has certainly made stars throughout the years, and Gino has been determined to keep up with all of them both personally and in the news. To say that he's passionate about the franchise is an understatement. In an exclusive interview with The List, this is what Gino told us about preparing to join the "90 Day Fiancé" family.

Gino is ready for fans to see his 'rollercoaster' experience on screen

Imagine having your romantic experience and the early days of your relationship captured on camera. That's a tall order to wrap your head around –- now imagine your story being shown all over the world. That is what Gino is currently wrapping his head around, as his relationship with Jasmine was filmed for "90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days." Gino shared with us that it's still so shocking to him that the hit TLC show is broadcast throughout the world, and that his story and romance will be shown from the United States to Great Britain to Japan and then some.

"I've actually done some research on that, and I was looking at that. I didn't realize the '90 Day' show is actually shown in pretty much every country I think," Gino told us. "That's pretty awesome. To think about, 'Oh my God, this show is going to be on in every country of the world.'" Telling us that he "didn't really realize how big the audience would be," Gino shared that he's excited for the world to watch his romance unfold, both for the ups and downs. "It's going to be awesome for everyone to see our story because it's going to be very exciting. So, it's been a rollercoaster," he said, and we can't wait to see his romance with Jasmine unwind throughout the new season.

Knowing the show will air in the United States is already a big deal, but realizing that "Before the 90 Days" will hit audiences in "China or Japan, Europe, in South America," Gino told us that the whole experience has been "pretty awesome."

This is how Gino keeps up with the cast of 90 Day Fiance and its spin-offs

Not only is Gino now a member of the "90 Day Fiancé" family, but he keeps up with what the other stars of the franchise are up to. A fan of different press mentions that his fellow franchise-mates experience on the daily, Gino told us that doing some research and staying up to date has been "really exciting." Of course, with time and the spin-off show's exposure, it's safe to say that Gino's star is only starting to rise.

"I'll have to be honest. I do keep up with what's going on with all the cast members. I've done a lot of research on them, like on a daily basis," Gino told us. "I keep up with what's going on and what are the other cast members that have done the show. What are they experiencing." Of course, Gino's insight into the "90 Day Fiancé" family will only serve him. Stars of the original show and its franchise counterparts have gone from everyday, normal people to bona fide stars overnight, so preparing for that potential change in his own life is a smart move on Gino's part.

What else has he researched while staying up to date with the franchise? "What are they doing, and how is it affecting their life? How is the show affecting their life, I mean," he told us. "Current cast members, and people that have already done the show. So, it's all interesting ... It's like joining a family kind of." Of course, for a fan of the show as well as a featured "character" now, Gino's journey has been thrilling to say the least. "I'm excited about it," he told us. "I watch all the '90 Day' shows. I'm a big fan of the show. I live, eat, and sleep '90 Day.'"
