Louisa has worked in the professional editorial field for more than half a decade, lending her expertise to some of Los Angeles’ leading outlets. Starting her career at The Hollywood Reporter, Louisa became a fixture on the red carpet circuit, and later transferred her skillset into breaking and digital news mediums at Los Angeles Magazine. While pursuing her degree in history, Louisa joined the investigative reporting team at NBC News Los Angeles, working alongside award-winning journalist Joel Grover (who still serves as a trusted mentor to this day). Her work at the station drastically expanded her rolodex, as she interviewed Los Angeles’ political leaders and public figures, all while holding their actions to account. After completing her contract, she joined Static Media and has put her collective skillset to good use, leading both The List News and Nicki Swift News’ evening and weekend teams. When she’s not working, Louisa can be found listening to “Armchair Expert,” chatting with celebrities, and overly using her Nespresso machine.

Louisa has a bachelor’s degree in history with emphasis on 20th century gender politics from Chapman University, where she minored in political science.
