Kendall Jenner's Brunette Look That Fans Envy

Of all her famous sisters, Kendall Jenner might be the most low-maintenance when it comes to her hair. Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are more daring when it comes to their choice of wigs and platinum hues. Per Marie Claire, Khloé Kardashian has an entire room in the house set aside for her hair extensions. And while Kourtney is similarly low key when it comes to her tresses, her recent engagement to Blink-182 frontman Travis Barker has her sufficiently distracted.

But though Kendall is rocking one of the more natural looks among her famous five sisters, that doesn't mean we aren't lusting over her shiny brunette mane. Normal and natural doesn't have to mean "boring" — and to think, Kendall once contemplated chopping her locks off! "I think about just shaving it all off sometimes," she revealed during an interview with E! Online in 2019, though she clarified, "not like a buzz." The model added that with shorter hair, she's a dead ringer for mom Kris Jenner. "I've been on sets before and they put short wigs on me like my mom. It's too much. I literally am a mini Kris Jenner," Kendall joked.

Kendall Jenner debuted a shag haircut

As every KarJenner fan knows, Kris Jenner's short hair suits her razor-sharp momager style. However, Kendall Jenner rocks a beauty look that's very much her own, and it's one that has fans racing to the salon faster than you can say "wolf." In fact, the "wolf cut" is what experts termed Kendall's eye-catching shag haircut, which the model debuted on the cover of Elle Magazine in August 2021. Per Stylecaster, the fact that the cut is fuller and shorter in the front, and longer in the back, is what makes it a '70s-inspired shag. L'Oréal Paris calls it a cross between a shag and a mullet, noting that the "wolf cut" typically features lots of layers and straight bangs.

Leave it to a KarJenner to show us that some things — like the shag haircut — never truly go out of style! Over the past few years, the choppy, layered 'do has been trending as celebrities like Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish have all debuted their own versions of the cut. According to tags from a series of photos that the star later shared to Instagram, Kendall's shag was brought to life by NYC-based hairstylist, Panos Papandrianos. She might be back to rocking her go-to look, as of this writing, but fans of Kendall's shaggy tresses can take inspo from this style.
