Here's What Prince William Gave Kate Middleton For Christmas

Prince William has proven himself to be an expert gift-giver when it comes to wife Kate Middleton. In April 2021, when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrated their milestone 10th wedding anniversary, it was revealed that William gifted his wife a lavish diamond necklace. According to People Magazine, the piece of jewelry is estimated to have cost more than $12,000 and is handcrafted with marquise cut and pave diamonds, mounted in 18-karat white gold. The Daisy Heritage Pendant from Asprey is also hung from a diamond chain.

Of course, William has been known to give his wife meaningful pieces of jewelry in the past. When the couple's first son, Prince George, was born in 2012, William gave Kate a stunning white gold and diamond eternity band. Kate can often be seen wearing the stunning ring next to her sapphire engagement ring, which once belonged to William's mother, Princess Diana.

This Christmas appears to be no different, as William seemed to hit another home run with his gift to Kate.

William wanted to give Kate something special for Christmas

Us Weekly reports that Prince William and Kate Middleton were unable to spend Christmas with Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royal family. However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge still had a very special holiday with their 3 children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. An insider reveals that the children woke up at 5 a.m. to open presents. "While Kate and William avoid overly spoiling the children, they let the rule slide at Christmas," the source said. The kids were said to have unwrapped many presents, including games and books, as well as camping equipment.

Since the Cambridges stayed at their home in Norfolk for Christmas, Kate prepared the family a special meal. "Kate cooked a traditional Christmas feast for lunch — turkey, stuffing, pigs in blankets, ham, roast potatoes and all the trimmings," the insider revealed, adding that the duchess even "used her creative skills to decorate the table with candles, evergreen branches and cones as centerpieces."

Of course, the day was made extra special when William gave his wife her Christmas gift, which was another piece of jewelry for Kate to cherish. "After a busy year, William wanted to make this Christmas extra special for Kate and surprised her with a beautiful bracelet," the insider said. It seems that the Cambridges had a very special holiday together, despite not being with the rest of the royals.
