Paris In Love Season 2: Release Date, Cast, And New Details

Though she had known venture capitalist Carter Reum for 15 years, Paris Hilton did not begin to develop romantic feelings for her longtime friend until she saw how he interacted with his mother at a Thanksgiving dinner in 2019. "We just started talking, he got my phone number, and we were flirting that day," Paris said during an episode of "The Trend Report With Mara Schiavocampo," per E! Online. "We went back for dinner that night. I just saw how sweet he was with his mom, we were talking more and I just felt, like, this really amazing connection. And then we had our first kiss and then our first date two nights later and then we've literally been inseparable ever since."

Then, just a little over a year after they began dating, Reum popped the question in a romantic beach proposal. Paris and Reum got hitched in November with a series of extravagant celebrations of love and family (and, of course, plenty of outfit changes for Paris). Remaining true to her reality television roots, Paris brought cameras inside of her wedding planning with a 13-part docuseries on Peacock, called "Paris in Love." The series first premiered in November and is still debuting new episodes every Thursday, per People. Read on to learn more about Season 2 of "Paris in Love."

When will the 2nd season of Paris in Love premiere?

Perhaps due to the fact that the first season of the show is still premiering on Peacock, the television network has yet to announce whether or not a 2nd season of "Paris in Love" will be debuting in the future. Given the fact that the series follows Paris Hilton as she prepares to tie the knot with husband Carter Reum, one might assume that another season of the show is not needed, as the couple already got hitched in November.

As The Daily Beast reported, "Paris in Love" follows Paris' wedding planning, which includes a heavy dose of opulence, arguments with family members about wedding details, and many adorable examples of just how in love Reum is with his bride. Six-figure wedding outfits and A-list celebrity guest list aside, in Season 1, Paris attempted to show cameras a more relatable side as she recounted past trauma related to unstable and unhealthy romantic relationships. At one point during the wedding planning, Paris' mother, Kathy Hilton, admits that she believed that her daughter had developed cold feet leading up to her wedding. During an interview with Hollywood Life, Kathy revealed that she had begun to wonder if Paris, who had been engaged to three other men prior to Reum, would just never make her way to the alter. "You can't force somebody to do something, but we really felt like maybe this is it with her. She gets right there, and then she gets cold feet," Kathy said. This possible case of cold feet plays out in a December episode of "Paris in Love."

Who will be appearing in the 2nd season of the show?

While no news has been announced regarding the state of a 2nd season of "Paris in Love," it might be safe to assume that a new season of the show will at least feature newlyweds Paris Hilton and Carter Reum. Other members of the Hilton family, like Paris' mother, Kathy Hilton, sister, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, and aunt, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kyle Richards, make appearances during Season 1 of the show, per Variety. Even the head of the Kardashian clan and Hilton family friend, Kris Jenner, makes a brief appearance in "Paris in Love," according to Daily Mail.

For those who might be unfamiliar with Carter, he is a venture capitalist from the Midwest. According to Page Six, Carter's father is Bob Reum, the former president, chairman, and CEO of Amsted Industries that is worth an estimated $4 billion. Despite coming from a wealthy family, those close to Carter claim that he is incredibly hard-working and is the perfect match for the equally-ambitious Paris, who is worth a whopping $300 million. "Carter is not a finance 'bro,'" a source close to Carter told Page Six. "He comes from a very low-key Midwest family who would never discuss their money. ... Both [Carter] and Paris are pretty serious people who have found their match. They know how to have fun, but they're very ambitious people."

The couple embarked on a glamorous honeymoon

Instead of heading to one single location to celebrate their wedding vows, Paris Hilton and Carter Reum headed to several of their favorite destinations around the world during their honeymoon. Earlier this month, Paris revealed that she would be going on quite a long honeymoon with her husband. "We've just been working so hard that we've actually decided to take a seven-week honeymoon," Paris said during an episode of the "This is Paris" podcast in December, per Insider. "It's Thanksgiving and Christmas and we've been working so hard so we've decided to enjoy." So far, the couple has traveled to luxurious travel destinations like French Polynesia, Moskito Island in the British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Bora Bora, and, most recently, London, per People and Insider.

Once the honeymoon has concluded, Paris also revealed that she is looking forward to becoming a mother. "I've always felt like we were married this entire time, but now I just feel like just so excited for this next phase and I can't wait to have babies," Paris said during the aforementioned episode of "This is Paris" podcast, per Insider. "He's just the perfect guy for me."
