What We Know About The Death Of Kim Kardashian's Business Manager

On December 22, the Los Angeles-based business manager Angela Kukawski was reported missing from her home. According to The Hollywood Reporter, police responded to a call the following day and found Kukawski dead in her own car on a street in Simi Valley — a neighborhood north of Los Angeles.

Kukawski most recently worked at Boulevard Management, an accounting and financial management firm that serves high-profile entertainers, athletes, and businesspeople. Among her past and present clients were Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Offset, and the Kardashians. She leaves behind five children.

News of Kukawski's murder shocked and saddened her famous clients. In a statement, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and other members of their family expressed their grief (via TMZ). "Angela was truly the best. She cared about every one of us and made things happen that were impossible. She will be greatly missed and we send our sincere condolences to her family and loved ones during this most difficult time," the statement read.

Per The Mirror, rapper Minaj also sent her condolences via an Instagram Story. "Hardest working, most reliable, sweetest person you could ever know ... You didn't deserve this, Angela. My heart is breaking for your children. Rest In Peace," she wrote. Since the tragic news broke, further shocking details surrounding her death have come to light.

A man has been charged with Angela Kukawski's murder

On December 29, The Sun printed photos of unnamed family members who had gathered at Kukawski's home. They appeared to be removing items from the house, and a mobile storage van is visible in several of the pictures. At the time of writing, none of Kukawski's children or other relatives had commented publicly on the case.

Shortly after discovering her body, police ruled Kukawski's death as a homicide and later arrested and charged her boyfriend, Jason Baker, with murder. It has been reported that police believe Baker killed Kukawski at her Sherman Oaks home, placed her body in the trunk of his car, and then drove to Simi Valley. Baker is scheduled to be arraigned in a Los Angeles court on January 12, 2022.

In an emotional statement, Kukawski's Boulevard Management colleague, Todd C. Bozick, said, "We are saddened and heartbroken by the loss of our colleague, Angie Kukawski. Angie was a kind, wonderful person, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Our deepest condolences go out to all of Angie's family and friends."
