Are Meghan And Harry Really Making Plans To Move Again?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stunned many when they announced their exit from the royal family in early 2020. Shortly after leaving their royal duties behind, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to Los Angeles. However, that didn't last long, and the pair later moved to Santa Barbara. "Harry loves California, but they were both drawn to the smaller town of Santa Barbara, where they can integrate into the community while having some distance and privacy that is hard to come by in the Los Angeles area," a source told Vogue. "For that reason, they had never intended to stay in Los Angeles."

Currently, Meghan and Harry live in a stunning mansion, per Express. "They both love California, and Santa Barbara has a magic to it — the mountains, oceans, vineyards, flowers, gardens. It's so beautiful," an insider previously told People. "They're excited to be there and to become part of the community. It's a really happy time for them as a family." Meanwhile, another source told the outlet that the Sussexes had plans to stay in their home long term. "This is their permanent home. Ever since Archie arrived, everything has been so turbulent, and many things have been up in the air,"

However, it appears that Meghan and Harry may have changed their mind and could be looking to move in 2022.

Meghan and Harry are reportedly ready to accept offers on their Santa Barbara home

According to The Mirror, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may love living in Santa Barbara, but since the birth of their second child, daughter Lilibet Diana, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are allegedly looking to sell their multi-million dollar mansion. The royals bought the home in June 2020. The property features nine bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a private playground, library, office, spa, cinema room, arcade room, wine cellar, and a five-car garage. It's also surrounded by rose gardens and includes a guest house that features two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Meghan and Harry also have some famous neighbors such as Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey, and Tom Cruise. While sources tell the outlet that the Sussexes like the area in which they live, they may be in the market for a new home close by. "They are thinking of selling their house there. However, it won't be on the market because of who they are. It's only being shown to people who are confirmed with funds and are serious buyers," the source said. "They want to stay in the neighborhood or nearby but they aren't over the moon about the house and the location."

It seems that Meghan and Harry may be looking to upgrade their home in the new year. However, they haven't confirmed any reports of a possible move thus far.
