Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin aren't one of those Hollywood couples that welcome the press into their lives. The lovers appear happy to keep their private life, ya know, private. However, we do know some things about their relationship. For starters, they met on the set of "Changeland" in 2017 and seem to have developed a spark around that time. More recently, they expanded their family. Song gave birth to their son Dakota in April 2021.
The new parents celebrated a rare night out with a post on Instagram in November of last year. Song, meanwhile, opened up about Culkin in a post celebrating his 40th birthday in 2020. "I could sit here and write endlessly about how wonderful, kind, loving, genuine, loyal, honest, brilliant and hilarious you are, and how grateful I am that I get to share and do this life thing with you," she wrote in a heartwarming caption. "But firstly, that would take me an eternity and secondly, you won't even see this because you don't ever use instagram."
She went on to describe her man as "my unicorn that I never thought could exist." How sweet is that?! While private, Song and Culkin are basically couple goals. And according to the rumor mill, it looks like they may be taking the next big step in their relationship. Fans think that they may be engaged. Rumors about Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin's engagement started swirling earlier this week. A source told E! News that the duo was ready to say "I do." That would qualify as circumstantial evidence. However, the "Suite Life of Zack & Cody" star was also spotted out and about in Beverly Hills. Song looked chic in a red jacket and black mask. More importantly, she was also notably wearing a ring on a very telling finger. Photos obtained by the outlet show off what appears to be a massive diamond ring on her hand. We love to see it!
So far, neither Song nor Culkin have explicitly confirmed any news about a possible engagement. In fact, Page Six reached out to reps for both of them and did not hear back. However, anonymous sources are willing to spill some tea apparently. A source speaking to People confirmed the news, too. All signs are pointing to a wedding in the near future, but it is important to note that nothing has been confirmed by the happy couple themselves just yet.
